There used to be a time when the republicans nominated candidates that weren't racist for president. Folks like bush, mccain, and romney. Now it seems like racism is a feature and not a bug of the trump movement. I fear that this will become the norm. Every candidate that runs for the GOP nomination sees this winning formula and will replicate it. Candidates will try to out racist each other. What do yall think?
 
According to MAGA, racism can only happen when white people are discriminated against, so they will never nominate a racist. He (and I'm sure they will be a male), will be sure to represent the interests of white people though, which of course is not racist to them.
 
The GOP will, yes, if they ever return. The trumpers will not.

Will there ever be another presidential election? If so, yes the democrats will win again and one day we will once again one day wonder if the Republicans are headed for extinction. American politics has forever operated in cycles. You can't really predict what things will be like 4 years or 8 years from now. Did anyone think in February 2021 that Trump would be POTUS again?

That said, the first point is threat. American democracy, as we come to know it is, at best, on life support. The prognosis on this February is bleak.

The best the GOP will do is nominate someone who goes back to dog whistles.

Many Republican supporters are racist, antisemitic, misogynistic homophobes. They can't afford to disinfranchise that many people and still expect to win elections.

They will continue to lose until they realize how deeply and truly racist, misogynist, homophobic, xenophobic, and anti-science this country really is (er, what you might call stopping being "insane far-left woke") .
 
Your "poll" is rigged to your bias. Answer YES and you are agreeing that the president is currently racist , answer NO and you are agreeing that republicans will only nominate racist. Do liberals check under their beds every night to make sure no racist is hiding there?
 
Im a conservative so I wouldn't know. I do keep guns around my bed just in case any liberals show up.

Not true.

Trump IS a racist and always has been. He got sued for refusing to rent apartments in his buildings to non-whites in the late 70s. He lost. His father was a KKK member.

Trump is NOT GOP and never has been. He is taking advantage of stupid people.
