Will the big bill hit Trump's desk next week?

Now, for any of you MAGAs who live in rural areas and your hospitals or healthcare systems are ****ed up or destroyed you can't come on this board and complain about it later.
Yet you complain about inflation. Funny how that works.

The mandatory $20 co-pay for non pediatric and maternity doctor appointments for families earning more than a whomping $33 K a year for a family of 4 will drive families to the emergency rooms. That impacts even the smug Republicans who don't give a damn about the cuts to Medicaid.

Which has nothing to do with you MAGAs trashing your own hospital systems in rural areas.

You guys should not come on here later and bitch about hospital closures/etc. You support it.

People spend that on coffee these days.

It this big ugly bill hits Trump's desk next week to be signed, PA GOP voters are mainly to blame for it since they voted out their incumbent Dem Senator along with having voted out two of their incumbent Dem House members.

But it has a lot to do with your hypocrisy.
Which still has nothing to do with you MAGAs trashing your own Hospital Systems in your own rural areas.

Do none of you people have children or grandchildren or great-grandchildren?

It's almost funny that MAGA is going to let Trump devastate southerners, the poor ones and the ones who will need hurricane relief and devastate Western MAGAs the ones who don't want public lands sold off and devastate young people, as they destroy social programs that they enjoyed, all so that the Jeff Bezos and the Elon Musks and the Donald Trumps of the world can have more money.
Right during hurricane season nonetheless let it happen and midterms will result in a bloodbath large enough to not only impeach but remove Trump

I think Trump said he wasn't going to kill FEMA, which will kill Southern States including tons of MAGAs, until next hurricane season.

It appears to me like Southern Republicans are going to be hurt the worst from this bill.

While the richest Americans laugh all the way to the bank. Including a bunch of Northern ones.

So Democrats are willing to let the SALT deduction cap stay low?

That cap really slaps the crap out of the blue states. I say that as someone who lives in one.

One of the "blue states don't get back what they put in" arguments should really address that they have largely been subsidizing themselves with their high taxes being deductible from income paid federally.

I mean if you demand your full share federally while also removing those taxes at the state level for the same services that is a form of double dipping.
It still is ridiculous to pay Federal taxes on State taxes. It is called an income tax because it is only supposed to tax income. Money paid to the States is not income. It is nothing but a way to penalize States that do their job well and subsidize States that sponge off the Fed.

I cannot respond to this issue because I'm busy rounding up enough face eating leopards to award if this catastrophe passes.

There should be no SALT deduction. Just because you live in a high tax state doesn't mean you should avoid paying your fair share of federal taxes.
A "fair share" of income taxes should be based on your income. State taxes reduce your income.

If state taxes reduce my income, then so does my car insurance, rent, food, Netflix, gym membership, etc.
