Vladivostok is a major Russian city. It’s like arguing the US would let Mexico invade and take Los Angeles.

Furthermore, Taiwan matters a LOT more to China than Vladivostok does. The CPC has placed a ton of its legitimacy as rulers on “reclaiming the renegade province”.

China knows that a nuclear war with Russia would mean the end of the so-called "communist" dictatorship in China. The Xi Dynasty would come to an end.

As far as we know, Taiwan (unfortunately) does not have nukes.
