Wikileaks Releases Nearly 20,000 Hacked DNC Emails

Thats a Debbie Wasserman/Schultz DNC induced bald faced lie.

The DNC and Debbie were busy stabbing Bernie in the back and at the same time crying and whining about how the Sanders campaign wasn't raising money FOR he ****ing DNC.

Calm down...breath, breath....

Bernie only campaigned for three down ballot candidates...because they endorsed him. Other than that, he did not fund raise for the Democrat party or democrat down ballot candidates. As an independent candidate he couldn't fund raise for the party or it would make him appear "establishment." And too, he didn't have the connections or endorsements. But he still benefitted from the DNC database and the money that Clinton helped raise for the DNC.

Pre-empting the inevitability of people bringing Hillary up.

They should refrain from publishing sensitive information about average joe, no matter where the info is hacked from. DNC, RNC, Target, wherever.

Agree, but I also feel that it's the point that will (unfortunately) interest the fewest people here. The general public (including the majority of this website) don't really seem to get how important cyber security is.

Everyone will before long. THis is a huge area where the elite have failed, and the consequences are dire.

Like, for sure.

So, that must be the reason the DNC laundered down ballot funding into Clinton's coffers.

No...the money Clinton helped raise went to DNC coffers to help in the general election and down ballot state candidates. The money laundering allegation stems from Politico, I think, discovering that some of the states that helped in the joint fund raising didn't get as much benefit from it as they thought they would because most of the money went to the DNC where it was "pooled", instead of funded directly to them.

And, the DNC laundered it back into her campaign and more Sanders.

Wikileaks Proves Primary Was Rigged: DNC Undermined Democracy | Observer

Article 5, Section 4 of the charter and bylaws of the Democratic Party requires the DNC chair to remain impartial during the primary process, a rule that Schultz seems to have violated in these emails:
In the conduct and management of the affairs and procedures of the Democratic National Committee, particularly as they apply to the preparation and conduct of the Presidential nomination process, the Chairperson shall exercise impartiality and evenhandedness as between the Presidential candidates and campaigns. The Chairperson shall be responsible for ensuring that the national officers and staff of the Democratic National Committee maintain impartiality and evenhandedness during the Democratic Party Presidential nominating process.

Despite Wasserman Schultz repeatedly denied allegations that she was favoring Hillary Clinton in the primary, but WikiLeaks’ emails expose her treating the Sanders campaign as an adversary.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz and her staff contemplate ways to smear Sanders’ position on Israel/Palestine affairs with her communications team in one exchange, with Wasserman Schultz saying “The Israel stuff is disturbing” in reference to Sanders’ platform committee appointees attempting to include language denouncing the occupation of Palestinian territory in the party platform. The email also shows that “HFA” (Hillary for America) fronted the idea of Israel/Palestine as “an ideal issue to marginalize Bernie on,” suggesting that DNC staffers were in communication with the Clinton campaign and cooperating on attack strategies against Sen. Sanders.

Party officials even sunk so low as to devise how to use Bernie’s religious views against him, according to emails analyzed Sam Biddle of The Intercept. In an email with the subject line of “No ****,” DNC CFO Brad Marshall appears to strategize on how to alienate Sanders from Southern Baptist voters:

It might may no difference, but for KY and WVA can we get someone to ask his belief. Does he believe in a God. He had skated on saying he has a Jewish heritage. I think I read he is an atheist. This could make several points difference with my peeps. My Southern Baptist peeps would draw a big difference between a Jew and an atheist.

EXPOSED: New Leak Shows DNC Officials Tried to Destroy Bernie Sanders' Campaign

Don't forget, they were also, simultaneously, demanding the sanders campaign change its "tone" and stop its unfair attacks on Her Majesty. I've never seen a more blatant example of hypocrisy.

DWS should be dismissed from the DNC. It is in their own language that the chair is charged not only with being impartial towards candidates and their respective campaigns, but also with making sure DNC officials remain impartial. It has become apparent this rule was completely ignored and violated about as thoroughly as possible.

I heard about the donor SSN part on twitter. However, I just took a look at the leak to corroborate and make sure it was true. I don't know the reason that SSN's were given but you can read this email thread to see that it's happening, and this took me all of a 3 minute search.

https://wikileaks.org/dnc-emails/emailid/277

Ctrl-f for SSN. Then google the guy.

Not good.

Who the **** puts their ssn in an email??

Wikileaks Releases Nearly 20,000 DNC Emails | The Daily Caller

Wikileaks believe in radical transparency, but my biggest issue with this leak is that it contains the names, emails, addresses and even passport numbers and SSN's of democratic party donors.

Head to the site and you can search for terms in the emails:

https://wikileaks.org/dnc-emails/

A search for 'Contribution' turns up hundreds of emails, containing personal information of donors (not dem officials).

1. This has nothing to do with Hillary's private server
2. This really calls into question the integrity of wikileaks, not that this is the first time they have published the names of innocents with wild abandon. At the end of the day, they are a foreign organization.
3. This is very likely going to be a cloud hanging over the DNC next weekend. I don't know the exact nature of what's in all the emails, but I'm sure there will be many people out there who will be looking for anything suspicious.
3. This massively highlights just how vulnerable we are as a country to attacks of a cyber nature. We are probably the country with the most in the world to lose from bad IT security practices, yet our govt insists on backdoors and ways in which they can spy on American citizens to 'keep us safe'.

Thoughts?

EDIT: Also, if you have donated to the democratic party in the last year or so, might be worth checking your name to see if it's there. I'm not sure what you'd be able to do about it, but knowledge is power.

My thoughts.

So far, media collusion and proof the DNC conspired against Bernie, against their own rules.
Hey MSM, when are you going to print that?

Tax purposes?

Screw that, everybody asks for your ssn, and I always leave it blank (unless it's for the usual legit things like loans or apartment rental applications). My frigging dentist wants my ssn, and when I leave it blank, you know what they say? Interestingly enough, nothing. It's like they knew their request for my ssn was bull**** all along.

Regarding the primary activities and scheduling...perhaps the DNC had to co-ordinate schedules with Hillary's campaign because she was the only candidate that was actively fund raising for the party.

Okay. Where did you read that?

It seems to me the integrity of DNC is called into question, for those naïve enough not to have already known.

All's fair in love and war, and if the NSA can take our private information, why can't Wikileaks take DNC's?

The few Shillary supporters that will respond when presented with this will tell you "He's not really a democrat, what did you expect?" And during the ensuing debate of Bernies political past and present, completely ignore the fact the DNC blatantly did exactly what their rules forbids.

But most simply will pretend they didn't see your post.

Oh, this is getting even better!

Do you have a link to one of those emails schlonging Bernie? Cuz most of the emails I read about Bernie were just forwarded news articles.

That's a good list...thanks for posting it. I haven't had a chance to read them all yet...but I will.

But he still benefitted from the DNC database and the money that Clinton helped raise for the DNC.

This is complete partisan hackery on numerous fronts.

Firstly, your statement is full of **** because Bernie has campaigned for a number of these down ballot Democrats, and he has for a long time. The DNC Establishment loved to flaunt this when it was convenient, and now ignore it when it isn't. (That's pretty much their style though, isn't it --they're just mud-slinging hacks.) That's not just this election cycle, that's going back to the 1990's Sanders has supported and fund raised for Democratic Senators. Secondly, even your numbers on who he has campaigned for are wrong. Sanders has supported Canova, Gabbard, Feingold, and most of the BOLD-Pac Democrats, in addition to the three women who you reference.

Thirdly, at the wake of the release that the DNC laid it's best efforts to cripple and conspire against Sanders, you have the temerity to talk about how Sanders didn't fund raise for them? Are you kidding me? They had openly been against Sanders from the start, behind and in front of closed doors. Either you think this is relevant because it justifies their treatment of Sanders, in which case your point is so unserious and partisan it doesn't merit a response, or you think this helps mitigate the damage that the DNC has done. In either case, you're dead wrong, and so are your spurious bare assertions.
