Do you believe this story? Does this come as a surprise? Does it make you think differently of Wiesenthal? About his legend?
Personally, it makes no difference to what I think about the man, but probably takes the fictitious gloss off the saintly myth of the one-man Nazi hunter. It makes sense that he used whatever resources were available to carry out his work. That he received monies from Mossad also makes sense. How else was he supposed to survive?
