Long story short, in 2011, word spread through social media that one of P&G's diaper products caused blistering rashes from chemicals present in the diapers. After thorough research, peer reviewed and accepted that the claim was baseless, P&G decided to settle the class action lawsuit that had been filed by 59 parents. Each parent was given $1,000.

The attorneys' fees of $2.75 million were paid as well.

This is bull****.

Shouldn't all those parents get busted for neglect?

Of course it is, the case should have been thrown out immediately. The case was baseless, those parents deserved absolutely nothing and the lawyers deserved a quick kick in the teeth.

Seriously, people...

Umm, we're wondering just how your baby got blistering rashes.

I would be reluctant to partake in a class-action suit for this reason. If I'm just going to get a token amount when the attorneys... who weren't the ones allegedly harmed... make off, then why bother?
