Long story short, in 2011, word spread through social media that one of P&G's diaper products caused blistering rashes from chemicals present in the diapers. After thorough research, peer reviewed and accepted that the claim was baseless, P&G decided to settle the class action lawsuit that had been filed by 59 parents. Each parent was given $1,000.
The attorneys' fees of $2.75 million were paid as well.
