Why socialism always fails

Deregulation is a good thing when it eliminates bad oppression of businesses and private citizens. Deregulation of banks by eliminating common sense credit standards in mortgage lending is not good. It turned out to be very bad. Barney Frank even apologized for his part in the deregulating nonsense signed into law by Clinton in 2000.

Yeah but that's not socialist dude. Trump did the same thing with the repeal of Dodd/Frank.

Would that make Trump a socialist?

I’m talking about the United States and equitable distribution, why are you changing the subject to Russia and strict income equality?

How was income redistributed during the first 2 hundred years of American greatness?

You're the one harping on income redistribution. I'm talking about tax law and incentives that favor everyone equally not just the rich as we've been doing since Reagan.

No one had any income. Either you had land and made money off of it, or you didn’t. Why do you think initially only landowning white males were allowed to vote?

The whole idea of income was something from the Industrial Revolution. The whole idea of only a handful of people owning the factories and corporations and the whole rest of the population being their employees is also something from the Industrial Revolution.

Also, healthcare did not exist. If you were sick, they would tie a tourniquet around your arm and bleed your vein into a basin. That was healthcare. Nowadays, it would be inhumane to let a small child die of some easily treatable illness because their parents have hit hard times.

Also, there was no education. Literacy was at less than 10% of the population. Can you imagine having a modern society trying to compete in the global economy was that kind of literacy rate? A basic education, regardless of the ability to pay for it, is there a requirement in the New World.

It’s a very different world than 200 years ago

Trump did not smash credit requirements for mortgage lending with the repeal of Dodd/Frank. However, the Commodity Futures Modernization Act of 2000 did smash standard credit requirement for mortgage lending which led to the crash of 2008.

Government meddling into markets for the unwise purpose of promoting income redistribution will drag any good economy into fiscal hell on earth.

Because early landowners wisely knew that giving the poor mobs the voter keys to government would likely result in the poor masses gaining the power to pass laws legalizing the redistribution of wealth of the landowners to the poor people who did not work to earn their own wealth.

Link one law that meddles into markets for the purpose of "redistributing money from rich to poor? On the other hand there are many schemes that are nothing but wealfare for rich and to protect the wealthy's money from taxes like offshore banking and transfer corporations.

UNHHH! Wrong, the reason the founders made land ownership a requirement to vote is because property tax was, at the time, the only tax levied on individuals, now we ALL pay taxes … so we ALL have the right to vote.

You're just making **** up to support your bull**** position now. Bye, bye! :2wave:

Democrat politicians are either dumb as rocks when it comes to fiscal matters or they simply don't care that they lie about passing laws to jack taxes on the rich through the roof while never actually doing anything of the sort. They figure the talk wins lots of votes from those who haven't the slightest idea what their representatives actually do in Congress.

Do you have to look down on people to find self worth? Because that seems to be the theme of your posts. Go back to making **** up because now you're just babbling. :2wave:
