Why so little outrage at police brutality and escalation?

My city is on fire, and the police are fanning the flames. They're shooting tear gas and pepper spray at peaceful protestors. They're targeting journalists with rubber bullets. People on their own front steps get fired upon. NYPD is on video aggressively barreling through protestors with a car. An old man with a cane aggressively shoved to the ground by a couple fascists with badges.

Everyone is quick to condemn looters as wrong, because that's obviously wrong. But the police keep getting a pass. How many threads?
‘Light ‘Em Up!’: Video Appears To Show Law Enforcement Shooting Paint Rounds At Mpls. Residents On Their Porch – WCCO | CBS Minnesota

Some people have a long fuse, but when it ignites, you're in trouble. You've made the police the scapegoat for the permanent underclass' criminality for decades. I wouldn't be surprised if the police decide to start dropping live rounds on these asswipes. I've seen police getting spit on, their vehicles and headquarters burned, their service horses attacked, and several shot to death. Don't declare war on them and then wince when they declare war on you.

My nephew is a reporter, he was out on the street, with his credentials fully showing, and he got shot with a rubber bullet by the cops.

He is doing a good job, but its kinda scary.

And there it is. Blaming the victims of brutality. They deserve it. They had it coming.

There is an absolute flood of video of the police brutalizing unarmed, innocent people. But go ahead. Tell us all how it's fine to shoot a woman on her own porch, fascist.

Hope he makes it through all this, safely.

Maybe if people like you didn't ignore the problem that has been going on for decades and actually stood up and had some balls to say this isn't right, we wouldn't be were we are at today. Go crawl back under your rock. It is the only place you are wanted now.

Yeah, he has a huge welt on his shin. That was Friday, he was out again last night covering the protests as well. Yesterday, one of his stories made it national on NPR, his first national story!

Meh, they're enforcing a curfew.

Nobody hurt.

I don't see a problem.

Many of my family are very pro LEO, and they are emailing their LEO friends to follow the law and "don't" do what the MN cops did.

Woman bleeding from the eye for the crime of carrying her groceries home wasn't hurt?
The 80 year old man with a cane shoved to the ground wasn't hurt?
The reporter shoved into a fire wasn't hurt?

And that is the whole point of the rioting. Once police stop getting passes for the **** they do, none of this will happen again. If those thugs were arrested for first degree murder immediately, then there would be calm in the streets right now. So who really invited this uprising???

I love that we're getting "they're enforcing a curfew" from the same fascist mother****ers who are screeching about coronavirus quarantines.

That's the thing. Here in Canada, if I had killed someone, and the police acquired that video, I would be arrested immediately. They would not phone up my boss, have me fired, and congratulate themselves on a job well done.

But that is exactly what happened, and almost certainly because of the skin colour of the victim.

These are the same people who used to lie and tell us they believed in personal responsibility.

Well also if this one guy would have bee fired previously for the amount of complaints he got for excessive force, this never would have happened. This guy was basically given the message by his superiors that this kind of behavior was OK.

A lock down like for Covid 19?

We had people ignore those and not get run over

Police are universally more brutal with liberal protesters than they are with conservatives.

We don't know that these rioters are victims. In fact, the demographics of the Minneapolis rioters appear to be multicultural/multiracial, from everything I've seen. These are not 'victims of brutality' Deuce. They're Minnesotans who've lived under decades of Democratic Party leadership, proving once again that life in a Democratic Party hegemony produces a variety of adverse effects. Minnesota was once one of the most peaceful states in the country, not too long ago. Now its claim to fame is being the state that started the biggest national riot crisis in the history of the country. You can't blame Republicans or imaginary fascists for that buddy.

It's good to see that something is finally being done about the riots. Leftists, as usual, will oppose all methods of restoring order.

Tell us all how it's fine to shoot a woman on her own porch, fascist.

Shooting rubber bullets is a perfectly reasonable response to a person defying a lawful order after several warnings.

That's because liberal "protesters" are often violent. Conservatives can hold an armed march around a state capitol, and not only not hurt anyone but not even leave trash behind. We are law-abiding.
