Why redheads feel less pain, according to scientists

They don't feel pain because they are carriers.

YouTube on Gaetz getting flipped on by Greenberg. Repub scum deserves what he gets.

I'm a redhead too! I guess we're just made tougher. 💪💪

I'm a redhead three, and so is my baby sister. But my mother and other sister were brunettes, and my mother in particular had an incredibly high pain threshold. Both my parents did, so I'm not surprised that we kids did. Of course, they and all my grandparents were also very stoic, so I think there are other factors that play into pain tolerance.

In certain ways, pain is very recreational. It helps focus the mind.

Shorteh is a redhead on fire...

No thanks, Jack. I very much like the absence of pain!

In the past I've honestly enjoyed it at times, mainly with a sexual connection. It does focus the mind. Like clearing out the cobwebs by only giving you the pain to concentrate on.

Pain is funny. In my experience the more the pain, then higher I got on endorphins. These are the natural hormones that moderate pain. They are opioid analogs that have the same effect on your mind as morphine, codeine or fentanyl would have. I would imagine that, like opioids, pain can be addictive.

See: Endorphins are polypeptides made by the pituitary gland and central nervous system. Endorphins primarily help one deal with stress and reduce feelings of pain. The pleasure effect associated with endorphins is in part related to the increased dopamine production that occurs due to endorphin activity.
