“………… Nah, too early to say or I hate that guy. But the truth is coming, and it sounds like this: Barack Obama will be inducted into the league of Great Presidents……….

……. More to the point, Obama’s legacy is the sort that gets canonized. Because the first rule of Hall of Fame-dom: The times have to suck for the president not to. Civil wars, World Wars, depressions and recessions. You got to have ’em if you wanna be great. That’s why we rate the Washington's, Lincolns, and Roosevelt's over That Fat Guy with the Walrus Mustache. Like Obama, these Great Men were dealt sucky hands, won big, and left the country better off than it was before…………

…… Obama has a few other edges in the long haul of history, beyond specific hurrah moments like Obamacare, rescuing the economy, and making America way more bi-curious. Being the first black president of course secures a certain legacy. But what now feels distinctly possible is that, just as Martin Luther King Jr. dreamed, over time he may be judged less for the color of his skin than for the content of his character. That character came across every time haters or Trumpers or birthers tried to pull him down into the mud or question his American-ness. He just flew above it all. And, luckily, he took most of us with him. He was the Leader not only of our country but of our mood and disposition, which is harder to rule. At a time when we became more polarized, our discourse pettier and more poisoned, Obama always came across as the Adult in the Room, the one we wanted to be and follow……….

In spite of the folks who do not like him intensely….and those who look to do him harm……….and then those who blame him for all the world’s problems……….
Future days…………….when looking back ………………history will declare ………..

President Obama was the only adult in the room.

He is not one of the greatest presidents, he was an okay president.

President Obama was the only adult in the room.

It would be enough for me, if he does no further damage.

Greatest? No.
Most narcissistic? Yes.
Most megalomaniacal? Yes.
Most insincere? Yes.
Least transparent? Yes.
Most contemptuous towards citizens? Yes.
Biggest attention whore? Yes. Well...maybe. His wife is a pretty big attention whore herself.

It usually takes about 8-10 years to really asses a President's legacy, so there is no way to make a call either way. The only people who will are hacks from either side of the aisle.

President Obama was the only adult in the room.

Lol !!!

Democrat candidates in the last Midterms had to pretend that " one of Greatest President of all times " didnt exist for fear of losing their jobs

And they still got their asses to them.

" One of the greatest presidents of all times " was a liabillity, a embarassment and wasnt invited to stump for Democrat candidates

Democrats in the last election had to pretend his signature legislation ( ObamaCare ) didn't exist for fear of losing their jobs.

And they still lost the Senate

You would think " one of the Greatest Presidents of all times " wouldn't have let the Senate fall to the GOP in 2014 .

Would have prevented the GOP from gaining seats in the House. Would have prevented the GOP sweep in State Houses and Governorships.

Could have influenced elections in Texas ( Democrats said they were going to turn Texas Blue ) but we actually added GOP seats. We're Redder.

Could have influenced Israeli elections, but Netanyahu won easily.

" One of the Greatest Presidents of all time " cant even figure out how to grow a economy even with the help of 8 years of near zero interest rates.

I guess the Left thinks they need to get a head start on their revisionism.

They know Obama's legacy is going to be a desperate complilation of economic and foreign policy failures and lying is what thay do best so why not start early.

Is there a surgical procedure that can remove your lips from their current attachment?
