As a Republican, I have a question for Democrats..

All this talk about Hillary and Obama, why isn't Biden getting more press? He's more qualified, IMO, than either... I like listening to him talk and I find myself nodding my head more often when he talks than any other Democrat Presidential candidate than I've heard...

I would just like to hear some opinions from the Dem's on the board...

Thanks...

I have heard some of his speeches. My alliegence in this campaign is a toss up at this point witht he exception of Hillary which I will never vote for. I am still anxiously awaiting the others to jump in and hear what they have to say before I throw my vote behind one or the other. Biden would not be a bad choice but certainly not my first choice.

He's a white male and far too moderate for the Dem base to support. Which is kind of sad, because Biden would pull in more of the moderates than either Hillary and Obama could ever hope to. IMO, Biden is the best Dem candidate out there.

Biden would definitely be the most intelligent and politically experienced person in the race. The question is whether America decides that it wants another long time politician as the next President or whether they will go for more of an outsider.
I like Biden. I always have. He would be my first choice. However, I don't think that Biden will be much of a contender. He has run before. He hasn't finished well. And I think that he has the perception as someone that couldn't win....
As far as him being out of step and being too moderate for the Democratic party....I disagree. I think Biden is completely in step with the majority of the Democratic party. I don't think thats his problem in getting the nomination.

Have you ever heard Biden badger, errr, question congressional witnesses? He's too enamored with himself and a blowhard.

I'm amazed at the comments above this post that say the posters like to listen to Biden talk...ya gotta be on speed to listen to him bloviate...he's as long=winded as Castro.

Then we have his "slips"...like his comment about Obama being the first "clean" black.

Biden will never win the presidency. He's too busy shooting himself in the foot.

I think he's a much better candidate than either Clinton or Obama, but I don't think he'll win in the primary.
