Why has this not been called a hate crime?
Is it because the race of the victim and the race of the suspect does not fit the radical left's stereotyping?
Are they trying to protect the suspect?
If the races were reversed, would it be called a hate crime?

A migrant from Guatemala has been arrested for allegedly lighting a sleeping subway rider on fire in Brooklyn on Sunday morning — then watching as his innocent victim burned to death in what the New York’s top cop called “one of the most depraved crimes one person could possibly commit.”
The savage killing — which happened at about 7:30 a.m. on an idling F train at the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue station — shocked commuters, MTA workers and NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch, who said Sunday that the heinous crime “took the life of an innocent New Yorker.”

It was a hate crime, ok? I mean, I wouldn't want you to have a meltdown over this so to prevent that we should ALL just give you the answer you want.can't answer the question

here is my "inventory"Have you tried making a list of the elements necessary for a crime to qualify as a hate crime
and then making an inventory of the elements in this crime
and then comparing the lists to see if all the necessary elements exist in this crime?
That's how I would start the process if I were you.
good luck.
Let us know what you find out.
here is my "inventory"
it was not a robbery
it was not a rape
it was a hate crime
the question is; why hasn't the suspect been charged with a hate crime
is there political reason?
You need to read up on what constitutes a 'hate crime' in Brooklyn and what elements need to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt to get that 'enhancement' added to the sentencing guidelines. Then you need to find out if the prosecution's case can support that evidentiary burden. Personally, I would wait longer than a nanosecond passed arest to pass judgement. The DA's office may be looking at hate crime status as we type.By Tina Moore, Larry Celona, Joe Marino, Steve Janoski and Dorian GeigerHorrific video shows suspect watching woman burn to death in F train car after he allegedly set her on fire

Doesn't matter if the libruls in NYC didn't charge him, he committed a HATE CRIME. Come on, I am trying really hard to satisfy your demands, take the victory lap already.but he hasn't charged with a hate crime
and, I have been wondering why
maybe NYC is afraid to charge him with a hate crime
The only "hate crimes" are those committed against white people, haven't you heard??There is no such thing as a "hate crime."
Marxists started the whole thing, so guess they can't take their own meds. The only "hate crimes" are those committed against white people, haven't you heard??
You might get more support for your position if you answered the following: What is the legal definition of a hate crime in the jurisdiction where this occurred? How do elements of this crime fit the definition?Doesn't matter if the libruls in NYC didn't charge him, he committed a HATE CRIME. Come on, I am trying really hard to satisfy your demands, take the victory lap already.
Well, normal people didn't create the term. So take it or leave it.Didn't take long folksfor the simplistic viewpoints to present themselves.
