It's interesting that Hillary Clinton is your champion in this thread. Imagine for a second what you would be saying if Donald Trump secretly installed a second phone system with the goal of subverting FOIA requests and Congressional investigations and then after he received a subpoena for phone records he wiped them "with a cloth."
There were 3 investigations, the third, by the Trump Dept. of State, went on for years, not issuing a report until 2019.
Why was there so much Trump-G.O.P. smoke, but no fire, if your claims were accurate?
The three-year-long investigation concluded that 38 individuals committed a total of 91 security violations.

Even after he was defeated at the polls and out of office, people who had not worked for Trump as POTUS for years,
claimed executive privilege and were unresponsive to congressional committee subpoenas, as Trump himself has always been.
If your claims about Clinton's involvement in deletions of evidence in reaction to Gowdy's subpoena were accurate, which they are not,
your condemnation would certainly seem selective, hypocritical.
"Not accurate."

"...But Merrill insisted Clinton was answering the question after a "suggestion was made that a subpoena was pending at the time."
Merrill also noted that Gowdy did not issue the subpoena until months after Clinton had reviewed thousands of emails sent and received from a personal email account on a private server during her time as secretary of state.
"She was asked about her decision to not to retain her personal emails after providing all those that were work-related,
and the suggestion was made that a subpoena was pending at the time. That was not accurate," Merrill said.
"In fact, Trey Gowdy
did not issue a subpoena until March, months after she she’d done that review," he continued. "Further, the subpoena was specifically asking for documents pertaining to Libya and the attacks on our facility in Benghazi, documents which, along with tens of thousands of others, she had already given to the Department of State.".."
Instructions were conveyed in December, 2014, two months before receipt of Rep. Gowdy's Benghazi committee subpoena to delete
all emails older than 60 days, but unbeknownst to Clinton or her staff until they read the FBI's report,
the instructions to a PRN staff member, (an employee of Platte River Network)
of December, 2014 were not carried out until March 25 - 31, 2015.

BTW, that PRN employee who had the "oh shit moment" doesn't exactly seem like someone who would be willing to alibi Hillary Clinton.
