Why is no one clamoring to build more ABMs?

There is not a single person here who knows how many ABMs the the USAF has and how accurate they are

Actually, yes we do.

There are around 40 of them between Alaska and California. And to be honest, when talking about a nuclear war, the exact count is rather meaningless. At most, they will only intercept a limited number of inbound missiles.

Oh, and in reality, your question is rather meaningless. The actual number of ABM is completely pointless. Because as in most thing related to the military, what matters is the number of launching systems there are for them. You see, that is how the military actually considers such things. It does not matter if there are a million ABM missiles laying around, if there are only 40 silos that they can be launched from.

And how accurate, we have a pretty good idea. Figure that around 70% roughly will be shot down. But it does not matter, as most adversaries other than say North Korea could send many times more than that so those hit would be a small number. Maybe enough to protect a few locations, not much more than that.

As always, you completely miss what is actually important, and go chasing off things that really do not matter at all. Like how many ABMs there are. Completely meaningless, if there are only around 40 silos made to handle them. And your completely ignoring the capabilities of the Navy.

I will give a pass on your ignoring the Army, as they have yet to even get the funding to equip a complete battalion of ABM systems, even though we have had them for over 15 years. With so few, they should not even be considered.
