Hillary is quoted as saying the following:

"We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California," Clinton told the editorial board of a South Dakota newspaper. " I don't understand it," Clinton added, alluding to the calls for her to quit.

It would really be surprising to me if all those who hated what Trump said yesterday about the 2nd amendment, could argue how it is any different than what Hillary said in 2008? I'm curiously waiting for responses.

It was a big controversy when it happened until Hillary said the comment was misinterpreted and apologized to the Kennedy family. Has Trump shown any regret?

EVERYTHING is OK when Clinton does it...

Take massive amounts of money from special interest groups - OK when Clinton does it, pure evil when anyone else does it.
Use her position to personally enrich herself - OK when Clinton does it, pure evil when anyone else does it.
Make racist statements in her past - OK when Clinton does it, pure evil when anyone else does it.

Uh, hello?

1) Clinton got a lot of s**t for that remark.

2) It did serious damage to her campaign.

3) She apologized for it.

4) She had not preceded that inappropriate statement by nearly a year of ridiculous, irresponsible, narcissistic, reprehensible comments, immediately followed by thin-skinned and self-righteous denials.

And, of course,

5) Obama won.

EVERYTHING is OK when Trump does it.

Telling lies constantly is terrible, unless he's the one doing it.

Hustling rich people for campaign donations is awful, unless he's the one doing it.

Enriching one's self off of other people is awful, unless he's the one doing it.

Smack-talking veterans and their families, women, Mexicans, Japan, "the blacks," disabled people, and pretty much everyone in America is awful, unless he's the one doing it.

Reading off a teleprompter is inept, unless he's doing it.

Losing an election is sad! Unless it's Trump, in which case it is somehow not really happening.

I follow the news as much as anyone, and I haven't seen it. If it were Trump the media would be in DEFCON 1 mode!

Its not. Thats why she apologized

A huge difference between Trump and Clinton is Trump refuses to apologize for almost all of the despicable **** he says.

Your premise, "Why is it okay when hillary does it???????", ... is ... well ... how can I say this gently?

Total B.S.???

Yeah, that's it!

That's the key difference. She immediately apologized for her remarks. Can you imagine Donald Trump ever apologizing for anything? And Hillary didn't actually advocate the assassination of Barack Obama. Trump did with his opponent, and some Trumpbot is just crazy enough to take him up on his request.

Pro Politicians always appologize for stuff that caused trouble, but we should all know that an apology from a politician is worth nothing or close too, because they say whatever they think they need to say to get what they want.

THe important thing here is that Trumps mind went exactly where Hillary's mind went.

THis is much ado about not much.

NOTE: Good catch by the OP, I have not seen this point brought up by any of the Elite yet, though I have not been paying much attention to the alledged calls for Hillary's assassination so I may have missed it.

I need to make one correction to your post

"Losing an election is sad! Unless it's Trump" In which case, the system is rigged.

If there were something to apologize for, I would think he would do so.

In the case of the cerebral spasms of the left, enticed by Hillary's MSM election division, the only thing that should be apologized for is that so many of her acolytes fall for it.

Every day seems to bring out a new low from Hillary's MSM election arm, which underscores the state run media effort she clearly embraces.

Agreed. It's just more anti-Trump fuaxrage. If another GOP candidate were the nominee, then there'd be fauxrage against him as well, 'cause you know, it's Hillary's turn, having a vagina and all. . . . .

Ya, but you know, a full 85+% of Americans are too stupid to understand that they are viewing Anti Trump propaganda supplied by the Elite, both R and D Divisions.

If it were not Trump then the R Division would not be participating.

Long term this propagandizing is fuel for the Rebellion.

You're not paying attention to the election are you...??

Trump isn't lying any more than any other politician does and far less than Clinton.
Clinton is the one with all the big campaign donations. So far Trumps biggest donor is $150,000, that doesn't even break the top 20 in Clinton's list of donors.
Clinton user her position as SoS for personal benefit, Trump just did what all good businessmen do and put resources to work making him $$.
Trump has never bad-mouthed any of the people you mentioned, you just believe that because that's what you've told to believe.
Who cares about reading off a teleprompter...

Now then, why is it that when Clinton does something majorly wrong, the media mentions it once or twice and then forgets about it, while if trump does the least little wrong, the media crawls all over it for days/weeks?

By the way, why do you think it is OK to say something stupid if it is apologized for afterwards?

Isn't the problem the saying in the first place?
Where did I say it was OK? At least Hillary recognized the mistake and made an effort to correct it. Trump has not. If you don't think he made a mistake, then keep defending him. I'm quite happy to see you and him spending precious time on defense and not on something more productive for Trump Nation. Quite happy.

Trump lies substantially more than most politicians, including Clinton. Not much of a surprise, since he's almost never been held accountable for his rampant lies. Hillary, by the way, is about average for a politician.

In case you missed it, he's now courting rich Republican donors, that's been going on for months.

Not to mention that for years, he was the rich guy making donations to politicians. He even bragged during the first debate that if he wanted to buy Jeb! Bush, he would have gotten what he wanted. Did you miss that entry on his CV?

Clinton user her position as SoS for personal benefit, Trump just did what all good businessmen do and put resources to work making him $$.
lol

He proposed a series of tax cuts that would, by sheer coincidence I'm sure, slash his own taxes. Reduce his own tax bracket? Check. Eliminate inheritance taxes, which only kick in for estates over $10 million, a cut that only affects 0.4% of taxpayers, including Trump? Check. Eliminate pass-through taxes that affect most of his own businesses? Check.

Back in his casino days, he spent a few years taking out such massive loans that the casinos -- which in the 90s were basically a license to print money -- were unable to pay the interest. While he was borrowing billions, he was also shifting personal loans to the casinos. They then declared multiple bankruptcies, where he left his creditors holding the bag.

He inherited both millions and connections, as typified by his father going to one of his casinos and buying $3 million in chips that were never used (and were declared to be an illegal loan). He also routinely screws his vendors, many of which are small businesses, far more than most of his real estate developer peers.

Today, he rarely puts his own resources on the line. All he does is sell his name to other real estate developers.

There is no doubt that Trump frequently used his position for his personal benefit.

Trump has never bad-mouthed any of the people you mentioned, you just believe that because that's what you've told to believe.
lol.... Too ridiculous to even bother refuting.

Who cares about reading off a teleprompter...
"I've always said, if you run for president, you shouldn't be allowed to use teleprompters," Trump said to applause during a rally back in October in Georgia. "Because you don't even know if the guy's smart...."

"I don't use teleprompters," he said in January, criticizing Hillary Clinton for using one. "Wouldn't that be easy, teleprompters? I watched Hillary the other day and she has the biggest teleprompters I've ever seen. In fact, if you're sitting on that side of the room or that side of the room you can't see her because when they are outside, they are painted black and you can't even see her."

And yes, he is now using teleprompters.

Now then, why is it that when Clinton does something majorly wrong, the media mentions it once or twice and then forgets about it, while if trump does the least little wrong, the media crawls all over it for days/weeks?
There are several reasons for this discrepancy.

1) Trump is a media whore and a narcissist. He has spent years courting media attention, thoroughly believes that any media attention is beneficial regardless of whether it is positive or negative, and that ability to attract the media is what made him a viable candidate in the first place. He is merely getting hoist upon his own petard.

2) Clinton has committed nowhere near as many gaffes as Trump.

3) When Clinton does make a gaffe or tells a lie (as everyone does), she usually knows how to tamp things down. Trump, in contrast, goes through cycles of doubling down, throwing temper tantrums and/or denying he said something he obviously said.

She was getting beaten badly in the primary, and refused to concede. She essentially suggested she should not quit, because it was possible that Obama could get whacked late in the primary, as happened to Bobby Kennedy.

She wasn't making a threat, or joking about making a threat. Just making a tasteless and tone-deaf threat, especially as Secret Service protected Obama much earlier than usual due to potential threats.
