YTD, all of these companies are down, along, of course, with much of the market. Facebook is down 50%. But I think Disney has a serious image problem at the moment. Picking fights with Mom and Dad and the state of Florida, where a good chunk of its money is made, over the issue of gender identity for kindergartners, wasn't too bright, IMHO, and the market is punishing it for it.
Dude almost all of the market is down.

You are clueless about the market

By the way...trumps pillow guy is really struggling. Lol

Retail America sides with popular issues to appeal to customers. In that Dems are on the right side of history in consumer eyes.

But let's look at the real corporate America: hedge funds, fossil fuels and health insurance. No love lost between them and the 'left'. Popular issues and perception dont affect their bottom line as much as policy does and that puts them in the GOP camp.

Doesn't anyone see the real reason? Demonrats are much more open to fascism, and fascism needs the merger of corporations and state. The demonrats are corporate fascists. Look at how they have allied with the big media corporations, the big financial corporations, the big tech corporations, and so on. No one else sees this? Certainly the left will never see this, as they are instructed by their elite leadership to look the opposite way and instead say that anyone who is not is demonrat is a fascist. Hopefully those who are not demonrats see this horrific trend.

We have transitioned to a knowledge based economy where companies compete with each other on hiring the best and brightest Americans. The best and brightest Americans are not Republicans.

Because the Dems raise. taxes and increases regulations, both of which the big guys can deal with but not medium/small businesses. This reduces competition and increases the bottom line for the big guys.

It's counterintuitive but very real.

An interesting thought and one that had not occurred to me. Thanks.

This stupid covid lockdown only, or greatly, effected medium and small businesses. Did any of the Big Box stores shutdown? No. This only helped the big corporations by reducing and killing the competition.
