He can stop asking the Supreme Court to bring back pre-existing conditions and instead defend the pre-existing condition protections in court.

Actively trying to bring back pre-existing conditions is lunacy.

The Republican argument is that IF people with pre-existing conditions are able to pay for their treatments, they need to. The cost of their treatment doesn’t magically disappear with socialized medicine. It gets shifted to the premiums, deductibles, and co-pays of working class Americans who have to buy their own insurance.

And the rest of us see the problem with someone trying to pay thousands, tens of thousands in medical costs, each visit in some cases simply because you had to change insurance. It's a good argument for UHC.
