I think most tea Partyer's stand on issues is pretty much what our founding fathers have written in the constitution and Bill of Rights. Of course their are procedures for change and our government today seems to ignore these rules, again another issue that tea partyer's have taken up. Our government has become to big and can no longer represent the people effectively in all manner of methods. Tea partyer's IMO wish to rein in government and put a leash on it, enough is enough and needs to be done before it destroys this country.
While I want to get energized by what you say I do question the timing. President Bush saw three of our bill of rights taken away, spend trillions and started a pointless war. The time between 2000 and 2008 was one of the worst periods where the government overstept its authority. Why not during those years. Why now and why so much anger at this administration. Why be part of the Repubican party and not an independant party?
