Why Hollywood makes literally No Films about Anti - Stalinist "Korean" War (3 part of WW2)? The Greatest Escape in US Military History - Korean War

Litwin:

Many were big hits. You can look them up if you want to. I did not include the 2010 movie "Chosin" by the way, because that is a documentary as well as an excellent movie.

So another Litwin factual fail and few here are suprised.

Cheers and be well.
Evilroddy.
oldie i asked about current time (not more then 30 years old films) and blockbusters of this level : Apocalypse Now

"Hollywood has barely dipped toe into deep waters of Korean War

By almost any measure, the Korean War seems rich soil for American storytelling.

More than 5.7 million American troops were engaged, resulting in more than 33,000 combat deaths and another 92,000 injuries. It marked the first armed, global conflict between democracy and communism in what would be known as the Cold War. The war technically never ended, as North and South Korea maintain an uneasy truce along the 38th parallel on the Korean Peninsula. "

no needs i know the drill , the real commies´ nightmare, the hero of the free world , and i know commie & Moscow horde hate him, so what ?

Even before his death, Thorne's name was legendary in US Special Forces.[38] His US memorial is the Larry Thorne Headquarters Building, 10th SFG(A), Fort Carson, Colorado. 10th Group honors him yearly by presenting the Larry Thorne Award to the best Operational Detachment-Alpha in the command.[39] The Special Forces Association Chapter 33 in Cleveland, Tennessee is named after him.[40]

In 2010 he was named as the first Honorary Member of the United States Army Special Forces Regiment[41][42] and in 2011 he was inducted into the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Commando Hall of Honor.[43] In the book The Green Berets by Robin Moore, the "Sven Kornie" (or Captain Steve Kornie) main character in the first chapter was based on Thorne.[nb 4]

He not only joined the Germans after Finland surrendered to the USSR he joined the SS.

He went full Nazi.

And he was convicted of treason by Finland for joining the Nazis.

The only hatred shown is yours towards the Russians.

FFS.... HE JOINED THE NAZIS, SERVED IN THE NAZI WAFFEN SS AND WAS CONVICTED OF TREASON BY THE FINNISH GOVERNMENT FOR DOING SO.

He changed his name coming into the United States to avoid issues with being a Nazi SS Officer.

Lol what? Finland was fully independent long after their confrontation with the Soviets. Most Finns didn’t go so far as to join the SS scum.

And no, he isn’t an “American hero”. If you asked a hundred Americans who he was I can guarantee at least ninety five of them would go “who?”

I don't like or dislike it... You said he was never a Nazi, he was. I'm not arguing or judging beyond that. Accuracy, my friend...your threads will go better if you remain disciplined.

Which has absolutely nothing to do with Nazism.

And yes, I like Sabaton. Quite a lot.
wrong, Soviets Marxist bosses from 20s promoted typical Nazi politic " Joseph Stalin deported to Central Asia and Siberia several entire nationalities for their suspected collaboration with the German invaders: Volga Germans, Crimean Tatars, Chechens, Ingush, Balkars, Kalmyks, and others. Shortly after the war, he deported many Ukrainians, Balts and Estonians to Siberia as well.[... First Secretary of the Communist Party in the late 1950s began a process of replacing non-Russian schools with Russian ones for the nationalities that had lower status in the federal system or whose populations were smaller or displayed widespread bilingualism already

Oh look, still not Nazism. Forced deportations have been around since the beginning of time.

Deportations and removals are not simply "Nazi politic."

The US did it. The UK did it. Various other nations did it. The Greeks did it. The Romans did it. The Egyptians did it.

Calling the USSR "Nazi" based on removals/deportations is incredibly ignorant.
