Why Eve? Why not Adam?

Do you like the world we live in? It comes from human beings knowing/experiencing good from evil for themselves, rather than trusting in Jehovah God to decide for them...those who don't listen have to feel...and it ain't no fun...
Yes I do. I don't need to flip through an old book to know that treating gay people like shit is wrong.

We don't have any choice but to make the best of what we got. Because that's all there is. Not going to waste my time watching the skies for something that isn't ever coming. Nothing could be more pointless or boring than that.

You set a very low bar, if this world is satisfactory...

Too bad you don't like life and feel the need to retreat into magic land.

This doesn't sound appealing to you?

Again, how would the know or really understand if they lack knowledge? It's like if a parent tells a child not to play with guns, but purposely leaves a gun out, and gets surprised or angry when the child shoots the gun. Does one blame the child, or the parent?
Excellent analogy/question.

They were not children...Adam lived for some time before Eve was created...we have no idea just how long they were in the garden before Eve disobeyed, along with Adam...

Without knowledge, they might as well have been children. Especially mentally.

Hahahaha this is funny. We can only make assumption why God had taken the rib.

Perhaps, it's simply because God knows it's the best part to use.
God knows the rib has regenerative powers..............................long BEFORE SCIENCE DID!

Hahaha - looks like we've scratched on to something that can be added to The Bible thread! :ROFLMAO:

Why did God use Adam’s rib? Interestingly, ribs have amazing regenerative powers.
Portions of rib bone and cartilage removed in bone graft surgery will regrow in a few months’ time, as long as the rib perichondrium is left intact.

This means that Adam’s loss of a rib was only temporary; he did not have to go through the rest of his life with an incomplete skeletal system. :ROFLMAO:

God’s use of one of Adam’s ribs to make Eve is a reminder that woman was created to be “beside” man. Together, the man and woman complement one another in marriage,
and in Christ they are “heirs together of the grace of life” (1 Peter 3:7, NKJV).

Unlike salamanders, mammals can’t regenerate lost limbs, but they can repair large sections of their ribs.

Interesting speculation!(y) But I lean toward the theory that the ancient Hebrews, whether divinely inspired or not, took some influence from other cultures. The Sumerians, for instance, had a goddess named Nin-Ti, whose name can be alternately read as "The Lady of the Rib" or "The Lady Who Makes (Things) Live."

Here's a first page preview, which, though copy-blocked, summarizes this theory of cultural influence.

They had knowledge of what God expected from them...that is all they needed, to live forever...they blew it...

Satan rebelled. Adam and Eve both disobeyed. JWs keep making flawed/failed prophecies regarding end times, and making excuses as to why those prophecies were/are flawed/failed.. I'm seeing a pattern here of 'God' creating flawed beings. An Omniscient and Omnipotent God at that.

It's funny how God, who supposedly created an entire universe from scratch, needs to borrow Adam's rib to create Eve? What, god couldn't simply snap his fingers and poof Eve into existence? And needing a whole rib is quite inefficient. Modern cloning and IVF techniques are more efficient than god. Go figure.
Eve was created by GOD to complete Adam and be his helpmeet. And Eve and Adam would share DNA (the scientific perspective). It may also be possible that Adam would bear the mark of the operation as JESUS bore the marks of HIS crucifixion.

Why didn't God create Adam and Even at the same time? Clay shortage?

I've said before that many biblical myths are borrowed from other, older sources. The similarities between the stories makes that apparent.

Men wrote the Bible; not women. And in the era when the Bible was written, women were clearly second fiddles to men, which is verified many times in Biblical scripture. Therefore the men who wrote the Bible, not surprisingly, decided it would be Eve ( the woman ) who was the gullible one who would succumb to temptation, and be the one who is responsible for 'Original Sin", not Adam ( the male ).
But wasn't the man also led astray?

If A&E shared DNA, then they are either clones or siblings. That gets weird when it comes to procreation. Not to mention 2 people does not make a viable population. We would have gone extinct as a species.

They had knowledge of what God expected from them...that is all they needed, to live forever...they blew it...
They didn't have the knowledge to understand. So simply telling them not to do something is effectively meaningless if they do not comprehend. How do you not get that?

So, how do you explain this?

All human beings are 99.9 percent identical in their genetic makeup. Differences in the remaining 0.1 percent hold important clues about the causes of diseases.
https://www.genome.gov/about-genomi... beings are 99.9,about the causes of diseases.

Are you saying they were stupid? They were not...they were perfect...they understood perfectly...

How can they understand if they lack knowledge, especially to differentiate between right and wrong?
