Why does the "Left" get the monopoly on Progression?

I would view "conservative" differently. It is a characteristic of maintaining instruments and tool that are tried and tested, while introducing new ones only, when they have been carefully vetted and show that they improve without doing too much damage. You might also find that conservatives will go by the old quip "...when events change, I change my mind. What do you do?". This seems like a more intelligent way of going about change than just doing it. Yes we can, but we should make sure that it is the right can we are opening.

Both China and India are succeeding, because they have begun to employ methods pioneered and developed by "Euro based Whites" and because "Euro based Whites" in Washington and later in Brussels decided to allow their populations to buy from them without major financial and non financial trade barriers, which is also a "Euro based White" idea. It is also quite clear that they are becoming increasingly better, as they innovate "Euro based White" economic, social and political instruments.

So seriously. Of course "Euro based White" ideas have not been all good and some were really bad. But the main success story and the one we are all living from is "Euro based White" and that is fine. But if we move off of that path, we will pay a bitter price as a number of the EU social democrats are now demonstrating.

Because what the forefathers created was great and us cnservitives are trying to conserve that as allowed to the progressives who are trying to progress away from that because they are morons and think they know better than the forefathers, which they don't, so we conservatives have to save our country that we are so proud and patriotic about from those leftist progressives that hate it and like to see the flag burnt...

America is the greatest most prosperous nation in all human history. Limited power Govt and a free market economy are what got us there. Being a Conservative/Libertarian is about not wanting to CHANGE that to an ideology that has failed every time it's ever been tried.

Actually it's only the so called Right in America that are adaptable enough to change when needed. The Left always fails in the long run because it has no ability to adapt.

Depends if you look at it on a meta scale or not. The Constitution was very "progressive", if we are going to use that term, in it's inception. I represented a break from what dominated the world at the time. It was specifically designed to limit the power of the federal government, make sure there wasn't tyranny of the majority, and have different parts of the government designed to confound each other.

Now, what we call "progressives" today want to remove a significant amount of the founding principles, and therefore actually regress us look more like systems of the past.

My threads (for the most part) tend to attract the most violently arrogant and ignorant posters simultaneously on this forum. I think it has something to do with unconscious fibers of their rotting beings reacting in reflex to new information that challenges their feeble realities.
Haven't yet decided if you are or not, but I'm leaning more towards 'not' at the moment...

'Not', I'd say. Pretty sure my rotting fibres are all conscious. 'Course, my reality seems to be feebling.

The most fundamental flaw of Progressive/Liberal/Socialism even so called Democratic Socialism is it has no ability to function without an all powerful government controlling everything, not even Bernie denies this.

Like Socialism Fascism requires an all powerful Government. Government is run by people and the problem is eventually someone as insane as Stalin, Hitler or Mao will always come along.

With a well armed public free market economy and a limited power government like our Founding Fathers envisioned they have no power to create a Holocaust or Gulag situation. The 20th century was the murderous time period in human history. It was Big Government from both the right and left that did all that extreme mass murder.
