Why do people lie about George Soros?

Why are you asking me? Did I present myself as an expert on him?

are these your words "he wrote the playbook on liberalism and he holds my puppet strings unseen, I guess. I've never actually read a word he's written but that appears to be the gist of it."?

Did I need to attach a picture of a broken sarcasm meter after that post? If you look over there to the left you'll see a "political lean."

left and right have no meaning when discussing principles. people violate their principles all the time and furthermore no one is one-dimensional, we all diverge on different issues.

and maybe you need to make yourself more clearly understood?

Maybe you need to not be so fu--

You know what? Never mind.

Soros "Open Society Institute was created in 1993 by investor George Soros to support his foundations in Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union." - Open Society Foundations - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Your 'same' is not true.

Yes, it is true. Both Soros and Kochs were highly partisan in the last decade or so in American politics, doing what they could to promote Republican and Democratic candidates, respectively. Soros being the "good guy" in Eastern Europe does not change this fact any more than the Kochs' donating millions to the ACLU, does it?

I was unaware Soros advocates "voting for an authoritarian socialist policies"

What he does (rather did - he was quiet in this election cycle) is providing blanket support for Democratic candidates, via vehicles like MoveOn, controlled by fairly radical types. Just like the Koch borthers are culpable of helping to elect many GOPers who are nowhere close to their own libertarian sensibilities, Soros is culpable of helping to elect cardholding members of the Unthinking Left that increasingly squeeze out the few remaining moderates and Blue Dogs - and sincere democratic socialsits ("liberals") as well. Need I remind you that during the Drone Filibuster all Democrats "standing with Rand" were called "Ron Wyden"? Should have been a no-brainer for any non-authoritarian socialist.
