Yep the FBI was (is) corrupt. Comey actually did her a really big solid by giving her a pass. Hunter on the other hand has a grand jury assembled. Its not comparable. I understand the concerns about too big to indict. This is not going that route. It seems clear that some of Hunter’s activities violated FARA, but there are numerous exemptions which would likely make jurors’ heads spin trying to prove intent to violate FARA’s rather complex rules. After all, the FBI decided that Hillary’s “extreme carelessness” somehow fell short of “gross negligence” in her questionable handling of classified material. Couple that with prosecutorial discretion and/or lack of precedent and its very likely that the DOJ will choose not to act to elevate that ‘matter’ into a ‘scandal’.

There was Russian disinformation about the laptop. We still have people on here bleating about the child porn on it, that it proved that Hunter was providing Joe kickbacks, etc. Tucker made a big stink about it, received the "lost" laptop material, and ... crickets. It would appear you are unaware The Times led the “Russian disinformation” narrative about the laptop in the fall of 2020, and honestly, I see no reason to make an effort to lift you from that state of ignorance. Comments like the one you posted here serve a purpose.
Looks good. I'll check it out, thanks.yep. i was right. Fox News is just so good at using the rubes to keep the $$$$ flowing in...

Tell us more about this. There was Russian disinformation about the laptop. ....
Nothing burgers? WHA ??? Mueller was the single most successful Special Prosecutor in history! Did you sleep through that one, Van Winkle? I lost track of the number of indictments, guilty pleas, convictions, prison sentences, . . . . fines ..How much time and money going after Trump nothing burgers?
A "really big solid" ??!! No. Comey actually lost Hillary the election by announcing, just days before election day, that the investigation had reopened, because the FBI had discovered some emails on someone else's laptop - which all turned out to be nothing new.Yep the FBI was (is) corrupt. Comey actually did her a really big solid by giving her a pass.
Nothing burgers?
You never convinced anyone but yourselves that Hillary was a criminal despite Trump's own DOJ - the guy who promised to "LOCK HER UP!" - making no effort ever to indict her. You're not going to do it with a laptop Trump's FBI sat on for a couple years without making any effort to indict Hunter.
But you're not gonna let that stop you from putting on a show of performative bullshit to make it look like you take your latest propaganda seriously, as if that's going to make someone else think it's real.
Haha. Like Paul Manafort and Michael Cohen? They were found guilty of nothing related to Russian collusion. Michael Flynn? Shitty entrapment that was totally discredited? The Mueller investigation did not find anything related to what it was started about. It was a farce.Nothing burgers? WHA ??? Mueller was the single most successful Special Prosecutor in history! Did you sleep through that one, Van Winkle? I lost track of the number of indictments, guilty pleas, convictions, prison sentences, . . . . fines ..
Pop Quiz: How many of Trump's closest campaign cohorts were found guilty of Failure to Register as a Foreign Agent? Do you even know? Did you ever know? Do you know anything? It would seem not. "How much time and money", indeed! Mueller's investigation cost the taxpayers nothing - NOTHING - because the fines paid for it!
Hillary was going to lose if Comey recommended indictment. By giving her a pass as he did, he gave her half a chance of getting elected. He did her a big favor. Mishandling classified information on a home brew server was completely illegal. Having no "bad intentions" has nothing to do with it.A "really big solid" ??!! No. Comey actually lost Hillary the election by announcing, just days before election day, that the investigation had reopened, because the FBI had discovered some emails on someone else's laptop - which all turned out to be nothing new.
Nothing. Boy, you really haven't been keeping track, have you. This was the scope of Mueller's investigation. What has Trump been charged with?
The FBI investigated Clinton in public, whereas the investigation of Trump was in secret. That’s the most objectively measurable reason for Clinton’s loss and Trump’s win. There are lots of other factors, but none so measurable as that.Yep the FBI was (is) corrupt. Comey actually did her a really big solid by giving her a pass. Hunter on the other hand has a grand jury assembled. Its not comparable. I understand the concerns about too big to indict. This is not going that route.
Bullshit. If you're ignorant of the scope of the investigation, just look it up.Haha. Like Paul Manafort and Michael Cohen? They were found guilty of nothing related to Russian collusion. Michael Flynn? Shitty entrapment that was totally discredited? The Mueller investigation did not find anything related to what it was started about. It was a farce.

More feeble revisionist history. Hillary's poll numbers were higher before Comey's announcement of reopening the investigation.Hillary was going to lose if Comey recommended indictment. By giving her a pass as he did, he gave her half a chance of getting elected. He did her a big favor. Mishandling classified information on a home brew server was completely illegal.
And what's with the straw man? The words "bad intentions" don't appear anywhere in my post, so don't quote them as if they did.Having no "bad intentions" has nothing to do with it.
See post #38. Keep rereading it until you get it.What has Trump been charged with?
You mean like the Trump/Russia Collusion witch hunt that the NYT is now "editing" articles written back when they were in one hell of a fog -- to factually correct them now?For the headline of your OP to have any meaning at all, you need to post two (2) NYTimes articles that contradict each other in their coverage of the Hunter Biden laptop witch hunt. Otherwise it's just an unsupported headline failure.
Manafort as Cohen unrelated. Flynn was a totally discredited FBI bungled entrapment. Look it up.Bullshit. If you're ignorant of the scope of the investigation, just look it up.
Polls were bull shit. All people know it. Hilary should have been arrested for total and will full mishandling of top secret information. She was given an undeserved break by Comey.More feeble revisionist history. Hillary's poll numbers were higher before Comey's announcement of reopening the investigation.
And what's with the straw man? The words "bad intentions" don't appear anywhere in my post, so don't quote them as if they did.

Non sequitur and off topic. You mean like the Trump/Russia Collusion witch hunt that the NYT is now "editing" articles written back when they were in one hell of a fog -- to factually correct them now?
What has Trump been charged with?
Trump has never been charged with a crime in his life (so you'll never get an answer) and he intends on keeping it that way - at least until his 2024 Presidential win. Then he can do whatever the hell he wants. He has earned it, especially after the truly asinine idiot we cal POTUS today, i.e., Jimmy Carter, II.I'm sure I'll never get an answer to what has Trump been charged with?
Non sequitur and off topic.
