The fact that we had the transfer of patients in other facilities show that there was an issue with hosting patients. And the fact that we had tent hospitals not related to the federal government serving coronovirus patients has been shown in my previous posts. Same with the fact that the Army needed almost a month to raise a tent hospital while the Chinese used 10 days (and it was not a tent field hospital). Bu the way, there was relaxation of certificates during the coronavirus to have staff for at least the mild cases.

You are not aware of how regulations can work Federal regulations provide a minimum level that ALL states have to follow (and we have seen this in many things such as setting minimum wages). States can (if they wish) provide on top of federal regulations additional requirments (again think of the minimum wage example).

Give me a break. There is no federal law that forced Cuomo to put Corona Virus patients in Nursing Homes. Your data shows there was no bed shortage. Cuomo had a brand new field hospital after April but continued to send infected people to Nursing Homes for months. Yet the lib tards blame Trump. Who'd a thunk it.

I did not say that..

My point is that people lke you who make judgments about Cuomo after the fact do not realize that what you see now as obvious, it was not that obvious at the time. The fact that even the federal government relaxed certificate requirements for nursing homes shows that there were all federal and state governments on the same page of using nursing homes for recoverying coronavirus patients.

And as I explained numerous times...

So, the observation that there was no bed shortage is actually the consequence of the decisions they made in relocating patients-some of them to nursing homes.

As you can see I have said this since # 271 post but it has not registered yet even though we are now at #354 post

It makes sense to tie it to those who did it. Trump wants our kids to go back to school and open the country with the belief the American people can and are responsible people. It is the left who doe not believe the people are not responsible and need government to hold their hand. But really gets me is when people not at work having 4th of July parties and millions of protesters are in the streets spreading this pandemic and the left lies and tries to blame the responsible people who want to educate our children and restore our economy letting people go back to work. Unbelievable.

What really get me is Trum supporters who always preach about personal responsibility and small government, asking te federal government for tariffs, or Trump supporters who who were all about protesting against lockdowns and opening the economies too early, talk about the BLM protesters. From the moment states chose to reopen, with to without the BLM there would be millions of people would spread the pandemic.

And your point about schools and if they should be online or in person has nothing to fo with what we discuss which is about the responsibilities for the death rates which are among the highest in the developed world (only Spain surpasses the US)

And since we are talking about deaths in nursing homes, let's not forget again how the lack of testing affected such deaths
