WHY ARE WE STILL THERE?


Time to re-evaluate U.S. involvement:

Every day there are news reports of more deaths. Why are we still there?

We see images of death and destruction on TV every night. Why are we still there?

We took this land by force. We occupied it. It causes us nothing but trouble. Why are we still there?

Many of our children go there but never come back. Why are we still there?

Murderers, Rapists, Pedophiles and Thugs enjoy celebrity status. Why are we still there?

Their government is unstable. Why are we still there?

Many of their people are uncivilized. Why are we still there?

Their land is subject to natural disasters and we are obliged to come to their aid. Why are we still there?

They have more than 1000 religious sects which we do not understand. Why are we still there?

Their cultures, foods and diverse ways of life are unfathomable to most ordinary Americans. Why are we still there?

They cannot secure their borders. Why are we still there?

They are billions of dollars in debt and it will cost billions more to rebuild. Why are we still there?

It is now quite clear!


WE MUST PULL OUT OF CALIFORNIA NOW!!!

Hey....I think a lot of us here feel the same. We are tired of supporting much of the rest of the country and having the same voice in the Senate as does North Dakota.
About 1 in every 7 Americans live in California.....says something about why people want to live here.
You think the US would be better off without California?
I think I can say pretty safely that California would be the one better off.

well why don't you start a movement to secede from the Union..........Before you do that though don't forget all the money the federal government gives you..........

Maybe split the state somewhere between La La land and San Diego....

I've been once in the States and it was close to SF! California is simply great! San Francisco is beautiful!

California has the 5th largest economy in the world. I would like to see us secede because we would crush most everyone else....save the United States. But hey, that is just me.

California won't have the dollar and it's global dependence to stand on.

How large will the economy be when the State of California is completely responsible for defense, money supply, and every other cost associated with it? And don't be surprised when the other 49 states boycott your goods and services. We'll be to busy growing "freedom raisins". Eventually, Mexico would have to close it's borders to keep you guys out. :mrgreen:

Your right I posted it as a joke but after giving it some consideration I would love to see a split of the state...........The Peoples Republic of San Francisco is worthless anyhow...........To bad because I remember when San Francisco was a great city.......

And if we paid NO taxes to the Federal government, then where would the rest of the country be? And better yet, if the country's next biggest earner, liberal New York, joined us, we could dispense will all the deadwood and form a much stronger nation. We'll let the next biggest earner after that, Florida, join us if they can decide once and for all if they want to be liberal or conservative.

However...while our military technology would be overwhelmingly superior (cause we're rich enough to buy it and smart enough to work it), our soldiers would kind of blow. Those southerners...they just like to fight. I've never seen anybody more up for a fight than a southern redneck.
