The obvious point is that there is no scenario in which any of these countries could ever be of material support to the United States in an event where the American nation is threatened by invasion. The purpose of nato is not to be an alliance, that’s the sales pitch, but it’s actually a way of aggravating Russia and Serbia by placing ourselves as a rival ideological empire. And it’s of no benefit at all to Americans
