Why are liberal bashers the only ones making threads?

Socialism, as a whole, is too general to make that claim of, some socialism seeks to control, but this is not true of all socialism.

In the end, regardless of "intent", Socialism requires control.

It's a different system of control, but the degree of control among any major system depends on how its implemented.

Just curious.

lack of caring/energy

I like to spout off and make my opinion known but after I've said the same thing a few times and it becomes a shout out, I get bored. When I read through a thread that keeps saying libtard this and libtard that, I get bored and can't be bothered to respond.

in real life I would probably tell them yup you are right and walk away

had to do that at work actually

later the guy was super embarrassed by how he had behaved

he should have been, his behaviour was beneath him

Just curious.

Lol...try going to the economic threads that are started by liberals/Keynesians/Krugmanites?

You want to see con/libertarian bashing..just go there.

The problem starts with your desire to be controlled, and to enslave others. Socialism is a horrible system.

Renae, you're running your mouth without bothering to understand what the other person believes, and I will dismiss your pointless interjection accordingly.

Why one Earth would you subscribe to such a inherently totalitarian ideology ?

You seem intelligent, educated and level headed so what exactly is the appeal ?

Much like Renae...

I actually did a count in the Presidential sub-forum this morning before I left for work. In the first 60 recent threads there were 50 anti-Trump threads. Of the remaining 10, 5 were general issues with the election, and 5 were Trump supporting.

Fascinating. I never read the presidential sub-forum nowadays for previous reasons stated. I'm not surprised, Hillary is paying a million dollars to troll people online with Correct the Record, yeah? I can't imagine DP is worth their time, but maybe they've set a half hour a day into this site. I'm mostly reading Bias in the Media recently, which is where they seem to congregate.

Where are they?

Just curious.

If you are referring specifically to this Government Spending and Debt forum, the answer probably has to do with the liberal's tendency to spend and get us into debt.

I'm thinking people don't like that kind of thing.

the liberal's tendency to spend and get us into debt

Can you provide any evidence of this? It looks to me like revenue shortfalls resulting from massive and unproductive tax cuts directed at wealthy households have created the relatively high level of debt.

The big deficits (more than three percent of GDP) were piled up 1982-93, 2003-04, and 2008-13. Those match up with the aftermath of years when receipts were poor, while spending has remained fairly constant.

Just curious.

Their entire political foundation is cracking. Nothing they claimed regarding high deficits and debt came to pass, e.g. high deficit service payments from increases in borrowing costs, a plunge in economic growth, etc.... So these people are afraid to death, which is why a rather large subset is backing Donald Trump. The past eight years of fear-mongering has taken it's toll; they are angry... they are desperate... and the last game in town is a hard talking businessman.

You haven't answered my question for some reason so Ill try one more time.

What would compel a otherwise intelligent and educated individual to subscribe to a ideology thats fundamentally totalitarian and not compatible with our Constitution ?

Seems to me it would be easy enough for liberals to make threads. Have any of you thought of that?

They don't need to. Conservatives are the ones operating from a position of weakness.

FWIW; wanted to vote for Kasich

Then why complain? Although, it is one thing liberals are good at.

I haven't read this thread (can't wait to do so), but who's complaining? The OP is just asking a question, right?

>>it is one thing liberals are good at.

The Right is so incredibly talented at creating things to complain about — massive and unproductive tax cut giveaways to wealthy households that have been raking in the dough for other reasons anyway, a dangerous and irresponsible deregulation of the financial sector that nearly caused a worldwide depression and ended up costing us a LOT of money, a reckless and very expensive overseas military misadventure, etc. Now you've put Frumpy the Clown up as yer candidate for POTUS. Quite a record of achievement.

Since when has an observation become synonymous with complaint?

Sorry, you should know by now that you won't convince anybody...not even the GOP and Democratic Elites...with your pro-deficit spewing. And your take on the current Presidential race is simply an extension of all that.

This fear you are talking about affects both conservatives and liberals, so this "subset" you mention also includes a sizable number of Democrats and Hillary supporters. If you think this fear will hurt the Republicans, you should realize it'll hurt the Democrats, as well.

Heck, even Obama was forced to consider deficit spending during his reign.

They haven't pushed me off...

But I find I am responding to fewer and fewer threads, especially in the Political arena.

You aren't alone. I find it very difficult to take much of it seriously.

Looks like I struck a nerve. It's going to be nothing but pure entertainment watching you and your ilk squirm through this election cycle. :lamo

Looks like I struck a nerve...to the point you can only respond with, "Just you wait and see!!"

LOL!!

Actually, the number of anti-Trump threads posted in this Forum is at least 5 times or more to ones either anti-Hillary or pro-Trump.

Trump's a Liberal.

I can only respond in kind to the substance provided. Donald Trump is the nominee for the Republican party :lamo
