Why are criminals being made into martyrs?

That's very bad, not just pretty bad. There is no excuse for anyone to yell that to any victim of a violent crime, and certainly not to a peace officer.

Social order is breaking down. Part of the reason it's breaking down is grouping everyone as 'right" or "left," without even defining what that means. Very few of us want to see cops die or support violent crimes against them. Very few of us support cops who shoot innocent people in the back. If "left" means we like seeing the police being victims of violence, there are very few "left," and if "right" means we support shooting innocent people in the back, then there are very few right.

Most of us are just Americans.

2. But the Dems & the media want to make President Trump look bad, so this year there has been a concerted effort to convince the public that Mr. James's comments are accurate. No one gave more legitimacy to the lie than the Speaker of the House when she ostentatiously kneeled in the Capitol.

3. If, as is likely, Mr. Biden and Ms. Harris win in 49 more days, the federal government will no doubt ratify Mr. James's accusation with various forms of legislation.

4. That is just how it is in 2020 America, and it will only get more extremist in the coming decades.
