Why are Conservatives soft on crime?

Researchers have determined that the drop in crime that occured in the late 80's and early 90's was partly due to the Roe v Wade decision and the legalization of abortion which reduced the amount of unwated children and thus the amount of children prone to criminal activity.

Why are Conservatives Pro Crime?
 
Conservatives are gang banging welfare laden thugs.

Where are all these trolls coming from?? There seems to be alot of "Why are Conservatives........" threads popping up lately. Which is fine, if they actually want to debate, but it just doesn't seem that way. Its like a bunch of 13 year olds dicovered this site or something.

Trolls? No they have a good point! Instead of filing charges of perjury, witness tampering, and more, dragging the country down even further through the mud and filth, they allowed Clinton to get off on a sweet deal!

Instead of filing perjury charges, witness tampering, interfering with a murder investigation and more while dragging the country down to a level it had never been before, the GOP basically ignored the First Lady's testimony about not having taken files out of Vince Foster's office, that she had not even known the files existed, and then that these same files turned up in her living quarters in the White House with her finger prints all over them!

Instead of throwing the book at Sandy Berger for stealing and shredding classified Goverment documents, after he said his 'boss' had asked him to do it, documents BTW that proved he had lied about Able Danger had never briefed him on Al Qaeda and proved how little he had done to protect the American people from their threat, Berger was slapped on the wrist. Where any member of the armed forces who had done that would have been placed in prison, would have lost his security clearance - never to get it back, Berger served no jail time, lost his clearance temporarily, and had to pay only a small fine!

These guys are absolutely right - the GOP are a bunch of weak-@$$e$ on CRIME!

I do believe this is from the book Freakonomics by Steven D. Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner. The former had also previously put this view out there for people to evaluate.

While I am a hardline pro-choicer, I think this may be an off-the-mark hypothesis.
