Why Are Avowed Atheist Governments Always Seeking War And Conquer Their Peaceful Neighbors

Name a non-atheist country in 2022 that has made the right to attack & conquer their peaceful neighbor the official government position as stated before the United Nations?
Moving the goal posts, I see. I guess you imagine that 2022 works for your premise because . . . . what? You were born yesterday? Because anyone who wasn't born yesterday rejects the premise of your headline. Russia hasn't been an atheist nation since the fall of the Soviet Union.

Here's a picture of Putin wearing a cross. What does that tell you? Or . . . . what should it tell you if you were educable?

Another hypocrite wearing a pagan symbol...

We need to ask the American Indians this question.

Are they following Jesus' commandments? No...

Christianity was explicitly used as justification for the colonial conquest and brutal oppression of half the globe for centuries.

Are they hypocrites or not? Yes or no...
Strawman argument!
Man, you sure like your fallacies...Moving the goal posts, no true Scotman, strawman. Your name should be Logicwoman.
Tell me about it.

Maybe it's just me, but that doesn't sound very Jesus-ee to me.

As an avowed murdering atheist Joe Stalin also sanctioned church , cross, commissioning of saints, etc, etc, etc,
But only a true quisling commie or the honestly dimwitted would not understand the history & purpose of KGB mass murderers like Stalin & Putin in doing so .
Read up on the communist use of the church in Russia and let me know which you are?

The Russian Orthodox Church was set up by mass murderer Joe Stalin as one of his many useful tools to root out disloyal Russians to be shot or sent to the gulags
"The Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) has been, since its reconstitution during WWII, an instrument of the state. The best illustration of this is probably the 1949 “Greetings from the clergy and laity of the Russian Orthodox Church to the leader of the nations of the USSR, the Generalissimus Joseph Stalin on his 70th birthday.” It states, in part:

Witnessing at every step your noble efforts to make people’s lives peaceful and happy, we see in your person not only a great statesman and leader, guiding the lives of people in a new direction of history....

Why did Stalin rehabilitate the Russian Orthodox Church?

HISTORY
DEC 04 2019
OLEG YEGOROV

The Bolsheviks oppressed the Orthodox Church after seizing power in Russia – but Stalin, despite all his ruthlessness, changed things for better in this area.
There is a legend saying that it was a miracle that saved Moscow in the winter of 1941, when the Germans were approaching the city: Joseph Stalin supposedly ordered the powers of Orthodoxy to be harnessed to save his capital. “The miraculous icon of the Theotokos of Tikhvin was flown over Moscow in a plane. So the capital was saved,” reported Orthodox journalist Sergei Fomin in his book Russia Before the Second Coming.
Like any legend, this one is not true: there is no evidence that Stalin, a Bolshevik atheist, decided to resort to such a strange measure to defeat the enemy. It was the bravery and skill of the Red Army that saved Moscow in December 1941, not some kind of higher power. But legends of that kind remain popular: there is one about Stalin visiting Saint Matrona of Moscow, who promised him victory, or about him praying for the defeat of Germany.
These legends, though untrue, reflect the shift in Stalin’s religious policy during the war, which surprised the USSR and inspired rumors of the leader’s “secret Orthodoxy.” Two years after the Battle of Moscow was won, Stalin met with three chief hierarchs of the Russian Orthodox Church, allowed the clergy to perform religious services, celebrate Easter and Christmas, and even promised to give the church back some of its monasteries (confiscated after 1917) and release imprisoned priests. Basically, he made Christianity legal again, in an atheist country.

Praise for the strongman was understandable: before 1943, the Orthodox lived in constant fear. Anti-religious propaganda flourished. Throughout the repressions of the 1930s, at least 100,000 people convicted in cases connected with the Church were executed. Being an Orthodox Christian (or believer of any other kind) in a country that worshipped only Communism meant living under a threat.

Practical approach

Stalin, a cynical and clever leader, didn’t experience any epiphany but simply knew that taking it easy on the Orthodox Church was important for winning the war. First, many Soviet citizens remained secretly religious (which was not directly forbidden), so the “legalization” of Orthodoxy helped to keep the nation at war united – quite a crucial thing. Second, the Allies were pushing Stalin towards loosening his grip on the religious: the oppression of the faithful was bad publicity, internationally speaking. Third, in 1943 the Red Army was regaining the Soviet lands previously occupied by Germans. The occupants, trying to gain public support, had reopened churches closed by the Bolsheviks – and it would have been strange indeed had the liberators reclosed them.

WOW! That's an awful lot to writing to still miserably fail to prove the premise of your OP. Especially since Stalin dies nearly 70 years ago, which kind of renders your argument less than meaningless. If your aim is to find historical precedents for violent atheism over violent religion, then I suggest you go back to the history books and start over. You've clearly missed thousands of years of god-centered naked aggression and slaughter. Just ask any Canaanite.

Why is it always these atheist, socialist, dictatorial governments that share and proudly proclaim ahead of time the common goal of mass murdering and the conquering of their peaceful neighbors?
What is it that inherent in the atheist theology that binds these cowards together and compels them to kill women and children by the hundreds of thousands ?

Man, you sure do like your fallacies...I'm a realist...I know there are very few honest-hearted people who exist, surrounded by fakes/phonies/hypocrites...

They lied...

Have you ever heard of the “No True Scotsman” Logical Fallacy?

Doubling down on a failed OP. How original.

Right, this entire thread is rooted from the start in bullshit. Our country was founded by people running away from religious persecution in Europe.

Only to use similar tactics to commit genocide on the Native American Indian.

Humans are humans but some of the ugliest are the ones who commit violence in the name of god.

What is about these atheist governments that has caused them to kill more people worldwide under atheist theology in the last 100 years than all other forms of government combined ?
And not done yet as we are now seeing in Ukraine .

Lessons from a century of communism

The three biggest Communist mass murderers: Lenin, Stalin, and Mao.

Today is the 100th anniversary of the Bolshevik seizure of power, which led to the establishment of a communist regime in Russia and eventually in many other nations around the world. It is an appropriate time to remember the vast tide of oppression, tyranny, and mass murder that communist regimes unleashed upon the world. While historians and others have documented numerous communist atrocities, much of the public remains unaware of their enormous scale. It is also a good time to consider what lessons we can learn from this horrendous history.

I. A Record of Mass Murder and Oppression.
Collectively, communist states killed as many as 100 million people, more than all other repressive regimes combined during the same time period. By far the biggest toll arose from communist efforts to collectivize agriculture and eliminate independent property-owning peasants. In China alone, Mao Zedong’s Great Leap Forward led to a man-made famine in which as many as 45 million people perished – the single biggest episode of mass murder in all of world history. In the Soviet Union, Joseph Stalin’s collectivization – which served as a model for similar efforts in China and elsewhere – took some 6 to 10 million lives. Mass famines occurred in many other communist regimes, ranging from North Korea to Ethiopia. In each of these cases, communist rulers were well aware that their policies were causing mass death, and in each they persisted nonetheless, often because they considered the extermination of “Kulak” peasants a feature rather than a bug.

You keep flogging this feeble attempt to conflate atheism with authoritarian aggression and slaughter, when it has nothing to do with atheism at all! Ukraine isn't being attacked because of their religious beliefs, and Putin isn't attacking them because of his lack of belief! Modern Russia is NOT an atheist regime. At some point you've got to come up for air. Stop living in total denial of the reality of the aggression and slaughter practices by those who are believers. They are simply NO BETTER than non-believers. Period.

Atheists are every bit as moral as those who believe in god, and secular laws are actually far more moral than any theocratic ones!

The premise of your OP is a FAILURE !! Get over it and move along.
