If we are to understand this correctly, this confusing question needs to be
answered, and dealt with. How can it be such a murky mess? To most of us
the answer is obvious, it is the powers that be who refuse to deal with the
obvious, it would mean admitting foolish arogance.

There are a lot of factions fighting in Iraq, and they aren't just fighting the US, they are fighting each other. There are basthists, the coalition force, Sunni militias, shite militias, secular militias, anti occupation insurgency, al Qaeda and foreign militias.

All of them fight the US, but most of them also fight eachother.

I had to go with insurgents, as I feel there are far more Iraqis....in Iraq...than Al Queda. Likely though....they are all terrorists in one form or another by definition.

They are all "terrorists" and they are fighting America and it's allies, and each other.

By definition it is a civil war and America is in the middle.

There are some groups in Iraq that advocate only attacking the Americans. I disagree that that is terrorism, regardless if they are linked to a state authority.

I said both, but there is ni option for that in the poll.
