Trump, the protestors themselves or someone else? Notice I said the "bulk" of the blame. That leaves some room for finding some fault with both. I'm asking, if you have an opinion, who shares the majority of the blame (if you think it's 50/50, this is not the poll you're looking for).

In the end, it is the decisions of the individuals involved to cross that line from peaceful to violent. No public figure has called for violence. Trump walks the line, or he did, by making it sound like some fisticuffs would be a good idea. But the responsibility lies solely with the individual who engages in such behavior.

The Protestors. You are responsible for your own decisions.

What you do, you are responsible for. Period.

Let us not forget about the organizations that supply the protesters with what to say and how to say it.

Some of the signs from last night in New Mexico were professionally made with a website printed at the bottom.

In this area, the Donald has shown zero ''leadership'' .. He is NOT the man for POTUS nor CIF . . He does not even try, I'd respect him more if he would try and fail ...

Unless there is evidence of Trump telling people to riot at his events then I do not see how anyone with a brain in their head can blame Trump.

Happy as a pig in ****

I haven't been at any of them, so I cannot say. Could be just as the narratives suggest, that the protestors are simply unruly jerks. It could also be that they were goaded into it by Trump supporters. Hurl enough insults and/or threats at someone, they'll snap. I don't think as much blame accrues to protestors in that kind of situation. Again, however, I wasn't there, so I don't know who is to blame.

Normally I would say the protesters themselves, but nothing is absolute, and in this case Trump is purposely taking advantage of mob mentality and feeding it.

If you decide to go somewhere to protest or cause issues and then you commit crimes, the only one to blame is yourself. No one is forcing you to go to a private event and cause problems just because you don't believe in what they are saying.

This one is a no brainer. The people who CHOOSE to act like moronic thugs, damage and/or destroy private and public property, who throw potentially lethal objects at peaceful citizens, cops, and horses, who trash the area they are in, who shout obscenities to deny somebody his/her constitutional right to speak and also others their constitutional right to hear the speaker. . .they are to blame 100%. And evenmoreso those who urge them on and even pay them to behave that way.

And it isn't limited to Trump. It is any venue in which thugs and idiots and sociopaths presume to dictate who will and who will not be allowed to speak and/or hear a speaker.

Since I don't subscribe to the absolute freedom of speech twaddle that defies human nature, Trump is to blame for the disconcerting spectacles that follow him everywhere.

I'm a huge free speech supporter, but violence or disorderly at the location of a candidate you don't support is counterproductive. I personally can't stand Trump and don't plan to vote for him, but I respect the fact that people are allowed to support him. In a democratic society you can vote for someone else and that's what the people who oppose Trump should do

The protestors... who the heck else is to blame?

...and some of you say Trump? How ****ing stupid is a conclusion that Trump is to blame for other people being uncivil?

What does that have to do with ucivil protestors not taking responsiblity for their actions?

 Apparently he has some Pied Piper magic and the poor people being be-witched into acting like assholes...

Try exactly what? He is not the one promoting that they protest against him, that comes from elsewhere. Has he sent groups to protest Sanders or Clinton? That he can control, what happens at his meetings is out of his control.

So you are okay with these "protestors" attempting to limit the free speech of those that they disagree with by using violence.

Perhaps they should hold counter events to discuss the difference and try by reasoning to change minds. Of course then they would not get paid.

But anyone but Trump can say anything that they desire, as long as it opposes ideas that you find distasteful. Got it.

Trump , of course , as he is the wonderful man in charge .
The protesters .. not the nicest of people
other ..BHO, of course .. the conservatives will blame him, sooner or later .
The primary cause is Trump. ..the failed CIC ...

So why is that a problem? Were they inciting people to riot or commit violence? If not, then all you're telling us is someone was organized and believes in free speech.

The protesters of course - unless they were hired by Trump.
