Would you care to explain this almost blasphemic statement?

Well I find in hypocritic that he can sit on a committee and criticize the morals of others after the very shady things he has done through out the years........

It is a precept of the Roman Catholic church to be pro life.......I don't know how someone like him who claims to be a devout Catholic and receives the sacraments at mass can do that when he advocates the butchering of babies in the womb............

By the way, nice picture..........

Obama's good. I think he will be the next President after Hillary.

I loved it this past week when McCain put Obama in his place...........

I chose other because I think liberalism is driving the democrat party today and it is the pedophilers, pornagraphers, perverts, homosexuals, Foriegn interest, hard core atheist facist, socialist, communist and other deviants that drive liberalism.

I bet that felt good to get off your chest, but from this statement I can only make one conclusion:

you have absolutely no concept of liberalism, or for that matter, reality. Bring your garbage to the dump, don't post it online.

Considering Hipster was talking about Jack Kennedy (not Ted Kennedy), I'd say it would be pretty hard for him to be sitting on any sort of committee.

I was talking about Teddy....I was a big JFK fan, even voted for him in 1960....That was the first time I voted...........

McCain and Obama were going to work together on a bi partisan bill to reform Lobbying............Reid got a hold of Obama and basically said we didn't want Obama working with McCain because he thinks that is a winning issue for dems..........Obama bowed to Reid and sent a letter to McCain saying he changed his mind...........McCain sent a letter back to Obama and told the junior Senator off.............

I am surprsied you did not hear about it.............Partisan politics by Reid as usual.........

Not a problem. I don't have to agree with a conservative to respect them, and at the same time, I don't have to respect someone just because I agree with them.

While no talk show host is likely to garner complete approval from any individual, I disagree that Michael Savage or Sean Hannitty are 'too far to the right' though Michael is the one of the two that most frequently departs the mainstream conservative point of view. Both get after Republicans who depart from conservative values, and both are enjoying enormous success because they are putting out ideas and concepts that mainstream conservatism supports.

These people, along with Laura Inghram, Rush Limbaugh, et al are not influencing the public conscience, but they all reflect conservatives values that you simply can't get anywhere else. It is comforting to us conservatives to be able to hear what we already think.

The Democrats have nothing comparable, and their media outlets reflect the views of the radical extreme left with all its irrational hate, negativity, and, as Aquapub pointed out, 'elitist snobs' who think they are somehow morally superior to the rest of us. It is this that turns off the informed American mainstream. The Dems do as well as they do in the polls because so many Americans aren't informed and let the left tilting mainstream media tell them what to think. And the mainstream media gives a whole lot of attention to those leftwing extremist wackos.

Until the Dems return to their roots and re-establish their own brand of conservatism and solid values that once was manifested in the party, I think they will continue to be out of the mainstream and will continue to lose political influence in America.

Lets be honest, the democrats get defeated by their lack of morals & family values. On economic questions they are much better for Americans.
President Bush is for the Rich he proves it over and over, but. He also has morals and values and tha saves him and the Republicans everytime.

The free thinking and informed people of the United States influence the Democratic Party.

Republican Neo conservatives are anti American, anti People, anti Poor people, and anti senior citizens.
the fiscal planning of the current administration is designed to confuse, and provide more riches for the already rich top ten percent of the People. The swift flight of good jobs from America to Asia is a good example of Bush policy.

Allaster Cooke the British author visited the USA during the great depression.
He said that in Many homes you would see 2 pictures on the wall ,Jesus Christ
and Franklin Delano Roosevelt ! Roosevelt was an American aristocrat yet he knew how to talk to ordinary Americans and give them hope. Most important he could get them to vote for him and other democrats.
Senator Kerry couldn't even be understood by people who wanted to vote for him.
Even Howard dean has realized that the democrat party doesn't make itself understood very well. Though he seems unable to change that.

:rofl
There hasnt been a free thought in the democratic party in decades -- their entire stale, dogmatic agenda consists of:

1) Opposing the GOP at whatever it does
2) Trying to retain their favorite social programs, resisting any change in them whatsoever, regardless of how badly they are broken,
3) Fixing 'problems' in the US by raising taxes and/or increasing spending and/or cutting benefits

This is borne out by the simple fact that their agenda since before 2000 (and apparently, for the 2006 and 2008 elections) is "vote for me because I hate Bush".

Thats SO original.
