I have a few ideas, maybe others here do as well.

A program for Convicts, where Convicts and new Ex-Convicts can do these so called, Jobs Americans Won't Do. This has been practiced before. They work during the day, and go back to jail at night.

Mandatory/Voluntary Work Experience for High School Students.

Community Service, picking up trash on public streets is a crappy punnishment in my opinion, lets have them dig ditches or whatever other day laborers tasks there are.

Anyone else have a good idea of which Americans may replace a Day Laborer Work Force?

Who do you think will do the jobs? The same people who did the jobs before the illegal alien invasion, American citizens.

The most recent PEW Hispanic center study indicates that 97% of the 12 to 20 million illegal aliens in this country work in construction, hospitality, manufacturing, restaurant, administrative, and service jobs. Are these jobs that Americans won't do? Are these jobs that Americans don't want and need? Only 3% of illegal aliens do low paid stoop agricultural labor.

There should not be any talk of Guest Worker programs until our borders are secured, employer sanctions are enforced and the last illegal immigrant has left or has been deported from our land. In case this was where you were going with this thread.

How about turning non-employed able-bodied welfare recipients into employed able-bodied workfare recipients and have them take over these jobs?

Construction is a very American job. I was in a construction course and nearly earned a BIA. Many Americans in the classroom. Restaurant, also very American, had things worked out I would have been a short order cook at a then almost Aunt-in-Laws restaurant. Do you have a link that shows the 3% of illegal aliens that only do low paid stoop agricultural labor?

Absolutely wasn't going there. I just want to be prepared next time someone tells me we need illegal aliens.

Who can replace the Illegal Alien work force?

Perhaps Americans will do those jobs once employers realize that if they want employees then they have to compete with every other business in the job market for employees.The only reason why alot of Americans are not doing those jobs is because those jobs do not pay ****,the cost of living is increasing while the pay stays the same,so basicly you would making less and less.
