No possible way to make a selection on this poll.
The "Crisis" is the civil war combined with the assistance both sides are getting from outside of the country. In the face of this... the use of chemical agents is extremely minor in comparison.
There are no winners or losers yet.
One could say that the Syrian people are the losers, but if you asked a Syrian, that Syrian might tell you he is glad to have the chance to fight, which in turn would make him a winner, even if he loses... because he got what he wanted... a chance.
The United States never stood to win anything. So we can not possibly be winners, regardless. But we did avoid becoming losers. However, Some Americans wanted to be involved in the Syrian War, potentially a war with Iran, and possibly even Russia. So if that is what those Americans wanted, then I suppose to them, we did not avoid becoming losers. To them, we lost already by way of non action.
Russia Loses if Assad loses due to financial and and global strategic aspects. And they win if Assad wins. But no one has won yet.
Winning and Losing is a completely relative viewpoint.
In order to answer the poll, we'd have to know who's vantage point we are viewing it from. Then we'd have to wait until the crisis is actually over. Get back to me in another 2 or 3 years.
