The White House said Thursday that removing FBI Director James Comey from his post may hasten the agency's investigation into Russian meddling.
"We want this to come to its conclusion, we want it to come to its conclusion with integrity," said deputy press secretary Sarah Sanders, referring to the FBI's probe into Moscow's interference in last year's election. "And we think that we've actually, by removing Director Comey, taken steps to make that happen."
OMG.

Congressional Republicans will be working overtime to rationalize putting off an independent investigator after this admission.
"I think the bigger point on that is, my gosh, Tucker, when are they going to let that go? It's been going on for nearly a year," she said on Tucker Carlson's Fox News show. "Frankly, it's kind of getting absurd. There's nothing there. We’ve heard that time and time again. We’ve heard that in the testimonies earlier this week. We've heard it for the last 11 months. There is no ‘there’ there."
"It's time to move on, and, frankly, it's time to focus on the things the American people care about," she added.
Good. It's nice to have a president who had the intergrity to be brutally honest with the American people. I'm glad that Trump fired Comey to bring the Russian investigation to an end.OMG.

And it will take time: months possibly years for the truth.
But the investigations should last as long as they have to in order to uncover the truth.
This is obstruction of justice.
Shocking to humans, but lets be honest. If Trump were to come out and say "yeah we worked with Russia to take out that lying bitch, so what?". Greater than 95% of his supporters would be fine with it, would they not?
Yes to it's conclusion whatever that might be.
Dragging it out for political purposes helps nobody.
That is what I read into it, however to drag it out and let the insinuations hang out there helps nobody.

And trying to bury it or stall it will be even worse
You beat me to it!
Neither of those would be bringing it to it's conclusion.
This is obstruction of justice.
