You have to give the White House credit for this one. I'm trying to think of the last time a top Democrat did what was right and spoke out against ridiculous accusations against the White House, and I'm not coming up with anything.

I'm starting to see a small trend starting where the Republicans are at least willing to do what's right from time to time and cross the aisle. I first felt this way when George Allen decided to not call for recount after recount and take the election to the courts against Jim Webb. Now this. It's like there's be a slight thaw to their icy, icy hearts.

I have to say, I think you are right, Cremaster77. I can't recall a Dem right now that defended a Republican, though I am sure someone will come up with something. In any case, Bush deserves credit here. Snow's statement on behalf of the administration against petty politics is just the sort of thing that will help heal the nation's political divide. Hopefully, we will see more of it from both sides.
