Democrats are not going to vote for him. This is a stalling tactic on their part and you are pretending as if they are doing this for some high moral cause. They arent.
Again, if this was an honest inquiry I would probably agree with you. Its not. If dems got every document they asked for and none of them showed him doing anything wrong, they would still vote against him. So there is no reason to capitulate to their demands.
Wow...YA....the picture you paint is that Mueller had to be there by way of honor.
This is actually fairly unlikely given the totality of his lifes work.
His service has been distinguished and honorable. He is a decorated hero.
Given how crappy the FBI is now I say no to that...Mueller did not do good work, they did not get so bad just because Comey Sucks, it does not happen that fast.
The FBI has been wonderful. I don't know what you are talking about. It's the President who sucks.
Pretty much everybody sucks......scapegoating Trump is not going to help the kids and grandkids any.
OPEN YOUR MIND
In ten years you'll be pretending that you didn't support the bum. And because you are my friend I'll probably let you get away with it.
But between you and I? We'll always know, and we'll always remember.
Given how crappy the FBI is now I say no to that...Mueller did not do good work, they did not get so bad just because Comey Sucks, it does not happen that fast.
Why do you prefer Cadet Bone Spurs Over a Heroic Vietnam Veteran who has served his Nation, not Himself, for his entire Distinguished Career ???
I am way way way way way way way better than that.
You wound me.
EDIT: You can go look at my 37,000 posts at my last home,,,,,I have been talking like this for well over a decades, Trump was a pleasant surprise for sure but I was calling myself a radical a long time ago. Then I got out of politics mostly after the 60 minutes Lewinski show, I was concentrating on matters of the spirit because that is the base problem, that is where we need to go to solve what is destroying us. I came back for Trump, but I was like this a long long time before Trump came along.
Your politics is just one aspect of who you are. Important? Sure. But remember: my favorite poster on the internet is docthehun and he is a Republican who voted for the evil one. Obviously, I keep an open mind. I also have a soft spot for dumbasses.
Where did dc you say you lived? Danville?
Not unusual if there is nothing really to hide. Ever consider that possibility? :coffeepap:
The problem for you are my 70,000+ posts on the internet going back to 2007 if I am not mistaken.
Bless your heart, Captain.I think the OP and many others on this board are convinced Trump is guilty of something, and are just waiting for Mueller to frog march him out of the White House.
That goes without saying.
And notice how little credit Trump gets for being co-operative and transparent.
Because this is Trump, he is not to be allowed to have the credit that he has earned.
Calling this Most Necessary Investigation Into GOPutin Corruption a ‘Dishonest Inquiry’, as Honest GOP Senators DO NOT, dismisses you from any political relevance on DP, Fletch.
Perhaps they are doing it to demonstrate to Republicans that they shouldn't vote for him either. Or would that fall out of the Trump cult comprehension?
Red:McGahn reportedly told Mueller about intimate details of what was going on or showed Mueller tapes of the following situations:
- The firing of the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey
- Mr. Swampy's obsession with putting a loyalist in charge
- The urging of Attorney General Jeff Sessions to claim oversight of that
- Mr. Swampy's attempts to fire the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III
This is so unusual that the Clinton Lawyer team is going, WTF?
White House counsel has spent 30 hours sharing detailed accounts with Mueller: report
So now you are whining because Trump has been cooperating with Mueller?
As White House counsel, McGahn's job is, after all, to defend the office of the president and the presidency, not the person who holds that office. What's not known is the extent to which, if at all, Trump understands the distinction. My gut says that Trump doesn't at all understand the difference, though even if he does, he can't very well order the WH counsel to break the law and expect complicity after having so ordered.McGahn began cooperating with Mueller's team last year after Trump’s first round of personal lawyers decided to give investigators as much information as possible, believing the president had nothing to hide.
That might make sense if democrats were actually interested in a fair hearing. They arent. All but 2 or 3 have decided to vote against him so there is no reason to care what documents they are demanding. Its a delaying tactic and you know it. Or should.
No, its whining.Red:
The prose in the OP lacks the locution of whining.
Maybe they thought that because they were there and know he did nothing wrong. Whats going on here is you guys on the left proving that you cannot wrap your minds around the fact that Trump is innocent.Blue:
I'm not so sure what's unusual about it other than that Ty Cobb and Trump's other former personal attorney were naive enough to think Trump truly hadn't done anything illegal. As White House counsel, McGahn's job is, after all, to defend the office of the president and the presidency, not the person who holds that office. What's not known is the extent to which, if at all, Trump understands the distinction. My gut says that Trump doesn't at all understand the difference, though even if he does, he can't very well order the WH counsel to break the law and expect complicity after having so ordered.
