Absolutely, the White House could cooperate and provide the facts but they wont. Frankly the dems know this fall is going to sting, and perhaps they are hoping that this Benghazi thing might make the republicans less popular. They are playing politics, much as they did when they left 4 Americans to die, on 9/11, by Al Qaeda-and all for political gain.
The video had already sparked demonstrations elsewhere in the Middle East. Was is so far out of the realm of possibility, at the time, that someone might have thought this to be an extension of those demonstrations? Are you a mind reader?
zero ****s are given about Hillary Clinton. make sure and scroll upthread. i posted a list of embassy attacks in the past couple decades. please provide links that show two years of saturation fox news coverage for any of the other ones.
thanks.
Now Obama is promising to get to the bottom of the VA deaths as he did about Fast and Furious, the IRS and Benghazi, Hurricane Sandy relief delays and so on.
Obama: Shinseki stays for now, but VA misconduct will be punished - CNN.com
Does anyone still believe this incompetent?
Lmao, I explicitly remember hearing about it on the news shortly before Benghazi, death threats and stuff were occurring. It went viral fast.
The democrats were attempting to use Sandy Hook to push gun control. The republicans are only trying to find out why the president lied to us for two weeks, failed to mount a rescue effort, and refused repeated requests for added security.
It might be a good idea for any American President to keep a watchful eye on things when his people are under attack.
i think you might have a bit of a blind spot. the Republicans are absolutely trying to use this tragedy as a political tool. it has annoyed me for years, and i finally just couldn't take it any more. when i was a libertarian, i watched fox regularly during the time period of a lot of the other attacks, and they never went after the Bush administration with two years of saturation coverage.
gerrymandering. most of the problems on both sides have serious and deep roots in gerrymandering
Lol, now you're asking us to believe a country just recently removed from the state sponsor of terrorism list, with an Islamist-backed leader - instead of a far more plausible possibility like the Muslim world going nuts over a video making fun of their prophet. Your partisanship is showing. If the state department chose to ignore the words of the Islamist backed government in Libya, I don't blame them.
Spntaneous demonstrators do not just happen to carry RPGs and mortars. Sorry!
Were you just as angry at the democrats over the Valerie Plame scandal? If there ever was a partisan witch hunt...That was it.
Again...none of those on your list involved the murder of a US ambassador or attempted white house cover ups.
None of the inquiries has exonerated the Administration. The Administration has simply stonewalled and attempted to ride it out. Every other administration appoints special prosecuters to get to the bottom of what went on. This administration is simply attempting to avoid scandals by denying they exist. Its the same with the IRS scandal. The "Let's move on...nothing to see tactic is not working for them. At some point the administration is going to have to answer some basic questions such as: Why did they refuse repeated requests for more security? Why did they not mount a rescue effort? And why did they lie to the American people and blame the attack on a you tube video?
I'm not sayin you are full of ****...but NO ONE was talking about that video prior to the attacks.

I for one am sick and tired of the endless droning on about the video. Even if the administration lied its ****ing ass off about what led to the attack, that is quite literally the least consequential element of the entire Benghazi incident.
That's what pisses me off & is extremely disappointing - being (consistently) lied to by the government.
Trust is the primary ingredient in a relationship.
Yet, internally, the government looks at people who distrust them suspiciously, as if we're not supposed to be upset about being lied to & just blindly trust every single word they have to say. As George Carlin would say, "The government wants us to be obedient."
In my household when I was growing up, honesty was rewarded & dishonesty was punished.

Been happening my entire life. I'm used to it.

All this "most transparent ever" administration needs to do is hand over the documents and answer the questions and this goes away.
I know many lefties dont care, but I dont believe our govt should lie to its people. And to honor those who died, and to prevent more from joining them-I think we need to know what happened.
Its going to happen, regardless of what you think.
Let's be honest here. The only answer you'll be happy with is one in which Obama says he ordered the hit on the ambassador himself.
