White has $3 million advantage over Perry in Texas governor's race

And White looks like he has a great chance to unseat Perry. However, it didn't have to be that way. Had Republicans picked Hutchinson in the primary, this would not even be a contest. As bad as it looks having a Democratic governor in Texas, the thought of Perry is even worse, even among Conservatives.

The bad news? You may be looking at a Democratic governor in Texas.

The bad news? Perry may be history, but there is a silver lining. Whoever runs against White in the following election will surely be a Conservative, not a Democrat like White, nor a Communist like Perry.

Edit on my first post. The second "The bad news" should be "the good news". LOL.
 
It should be an interesting test of how much is anti-incumbent and how much is pro-conservative
