This has been an interesting read.
Since Beck and race have been discussed at length someone please answer this for me.

Do to having family that follow Becks every word I try to keep up on him somewhat.
I have noticed in the past few months he is getting farther into blacks. He brings up how there were blacks that did great things in history that many don't recognize or talk about.

He also keeps bringing blacks on his show and trying to show that there are black conservatives out there but there are people (mostly progressives according to him) who do not think blacks are or can be a part of the tea party or even conservative.

Is it that he is trying to prove he and the tea party are not racist?
Is it that he is trying to bring more blacks into the tea (Republican) party because it is all political for him?

He has eluded to progressives (liberals) have been trying to keep the blacks down and dependent on the government so they will vote for democrats so democrats can stay in power but I just don't go for that theory.

Anyone have theory on why he has been pushing this so much in the past few months?

As to trying to prove he and the tea party aren't racist.... you don't have to defend yourself against false accusations. Just keep doing what you were doing, the truth will be seen.

I've been listening to Glenn for quite a while. He is ADD and when he latches onto something in my opinion he becomes obsessed for a while. When he hit on the blacks who were written out of history, that might have peaked his interest in blacks. However I think he's always been of the mind that the democratic party is responsible for keeping minorities down.
As far as him wanting to bring more blacks into the tea party, I'm sure he does. I do too. I'm happy to see more black conservatives these days, but not nearly the numbers I'd like to see. I truly believe the conservatives have a lot more to offer minorities than the liberals. I hope more will give us a chance to prove it.

Now you're switiching from the Beck to the tea party, an illogical leap, and then declaring something quite false. I showed a recgnized leader doing stupid things, putting up stupid and questionable bill boards, and keeping his position. That has not been disputed in any way.

But try to stay on issue at a time. ;)
