Which Trump con ranks #1 in your mind?

Given that there are several to choose from, I am curious which one (and please list only one) ranks as the best con job that Trump has pulled to date. This can be prior, during or post presidency. This can also be political or financial as well. The one you choose will be the one that you had the hardest time believing that people actually fell for.
 
Just the entire brand. The Trump brand. That will always be his most successful con.
 
Hard to believe people voted for Trump for President.
 
His "2week" promises were almost legendary.
I mean, there for awhile, any time someone asked him about something, he'd sound like the proverbial broken record.
What about healthcare?..."My team is very hard at working on it. Will be ready in 2 weeks."
What about the environment? "We're gonna have that done in 2 weeks"
They should of asked him> How many days are you going to play golf in every 3 week segment?
 
The first big one when he became fully political and for which clear thinking people should have dismissed him immediately:

Birther ism.

"I've sent investigators to Hawaii and that can't believe what they're finding."

I can somewhat see it before all of his BS started. Voters were tired of the career politician type and wanted something different and something to believe in. Sadly, Trump turned out to be far worse than anyone could have imagined.

I actually thought that he would keep seasoned folks around him and a actually listen to them. On all fronts, Trump turned out to be a lot dumber than I ever expected him to be.

Yeah, he doesn't listen to other people. Other people listen to him. He'll listen to other people saying what he would be saying or saying what he wants to hear. But that's it.

Birtherism: a brilliant con.

I never suspected there was that much racism in this country to get any interest in such an obvious con, and then to keep it going for 6 years straight and even propel him to the presidency. I was also shocked when it didn’t sink him when he finally admitted he had been lying about it the whole time. An absolutely brilliant con.
 
I have followed Trump since the mid 70's. I knew that he had no moral compass and would have likely sold his own mother to make a buck. I just felt that the "Institution" of being POTUS would have held him in check. I was very wrong.
