Well I believe I saw a news story where Rosie O' Donnell was saying we have just as much to fear from Radical Christianity as we do from Radical Islam. I would point out I am using radical Xtianity as in reference to Neo-cons, for the topic of this discussion.
Now Rosie O' Donnell, being a lesbain with kids, would understandably feel threatend by radical xtianity or neo-cons. This is her personal perception based off of her experiences, and experiences of others like her. Thats fine, and although I don't agree with the statement, I can see where her arguement comes from.
Why I Disagree with this statement is because her perception is the perception of an individual threat to her, rather than a societal perception. What is more dangerous to our society as a whole. And what amazes me, and this point has been made, is that the extremeists from Islam, if they had their way, would not just outlaw gay marriage, but they would murder people in the homosexual community. Neo-Cons are really a threat to the rights liberals want, and Extreme Islam is a threat to their very existence.
And I believe the societal perception should be more threatened by extreme Islam than by Neo-cons. Neo-cons are bad, but you'd be alive if you didn't want to join their religion. With extreme Islam, your head would be seperated from you shoulders.

Property rights are pretty closely linked to economics, but moving on. Many radical Islamic groups support self-determination. As long as the poeple vote the way they want. Much like American conservatives (and to be fair, American liberals as well).

If you want to draw the distinction look at the actions the two religions take a look at what they actually do. See any Christians calling for genocide and conversion of all other religions? No. See any Christians flying planes into buildings? No. Of all the fairytales and myths still in believed in today Islam is definitely the most violent. Yes Christians have done those things before, but they stopped long ago while Muslims continue to carry out acts of violence.

Actually, Radical islam is the greatest threat to the United States. I do believe this.

yet Radical right wing conservatives are a close second. The right wing radicals have lied so much, that it is even possible, that what they say about radical islam is all BS. When the white house speaks, I automatically doubt their statements. They invaded Iraq, for no reason, they have created threatening USA situations all over the world. Even our allies, the British distrust Bush and Cheney.

The radical Right Wing party that has stolen the honorable name of the Republican party, are close to destroying the constitution, and the Bill of Rights. Does Bush wants to be a dictator? How come there is such a close parallel to the development of Hitler, in Nazi Germany? and the Bush Administration. Exact same tactics. The Nazi's had there enemy the Jews, and now we have our enemy the Moslems. We are holding them in camps without trial just like the Nazis did the Jews. When will the gas chambers and the ovens start? What are the similarities between, the Nazi death Camps and Right wing camps, such as Guantaunimo. Both the Nazis and the Right Wing Radicals in the United states claimed and claim to be motivated by national security.:spin:

Bush is the worse world leader that the any country in the Western Block has ever had. Bush thinks that he is God's gift to the United States, but many good American Christians are strong Democrats and view Bush as being Satan in disquise.:spin: :spin: :smile:

Conservatives kill terrorists and tyrants.

Islam is the immediate problem, but EVERY U.S. enemy is supported by liberals, not just Islamic loonies...

So liberalism is definitely the bigger threat than either of these two.

What's funny is that TOT and aquapub are not outraged over 665,000 Iraqis losing there lives. And what is really strange is that after their response to a comment such as that, they still expect people to believe we are there for their [Iraqis] benefit.

If conservatives kill terrorists and tyrants how come Bush is still alive?

I don't wish to see Bush harmed or dead. I rather see him to go on trial for Crimes Against Humanity after his term is up.
