Which congresswoman has a better conservative voting record: Stefanik or Cheney?

No peeking. The GOP apparently wants to replace Cheney with Stefanik.

Guess which one has the better conservative voting record via ACU (American Conservative Union)?

Liz Cheney. One of the most conservative Reps in Congress. Voted in line with Trump in 95.8% of her votes.

Stefanik (R/NY) is/was considered a moderate Republican. Now she'll be forced to vote as Trump instructs. Could hurt her in that huge/purple northern 21st district.

But then again, NY is losing a Congressional seat so the NY state Dems just might gerrymander her district out of existence.

We have a winner! This just shows you that the GOP cares very little about substance. It's all about pleasing one of the worst U.S Presidents in American history.

At this point it has nothing to do with political ideologies and everything to do with trump the god of the gop. And yet they say they want to govern. What is going to be their platform? Love trump or else?
 
This has little to do with voting record and everything to do with executing the duties of that position, which Cheney failed to do. It's really that simple.
Cheney will be out shortly and we'll see if Stafanik brings her A game, which we know she has.
I think that's what scares you most. You've seen her in action.
She's got the goods and the more you try to convince us she's wrong for the job, the more right we know she is.

Cheney is way more conservative.

But today's republican party isn't conservative......they are in the personality cult of Trump.

Chenney won't lie for a Trump, and won't support Trump, a traitor to the USA.

So they will get rid of her in favor of somone who is far less conservative but is willing to perpetuate Trumps lies.

Cheney’s job is not to perpetuate Trump’s Big Lie.

Stefanik is just another soulless, pathetic Trump sycophant willing to trade her integrity (if she ever had any) for a temporary promotion.

How has she not executed her duties? Why does putting in somebody with a moderate-to-liberal-leaning record do a better job?

The opposite.

They are stripping Chenney, and giving it to a much less conservative rep. Because Chenney will not lie for the Trump cult at the expense of democracy and American values.

What matters in today's Republican party is the willingness to repeat Trumps lies....not democracy, not conservativism, not morality.

Cheney raised $1.54 million in the first quarter of 2021, the most she has reported in a single quarter in her past three elections, the Wyoming Tribune Eagle reported Monday.

Her campaign closed the first quarter with about $1.43 million cash on hand.

Cheney’s closest financial competitor in the primary race is Republican state Sen. Anthony Bouchard, who raised about $334,000 in the first quarter and had about $164,000 in hand at the start of April, according to his Federal Election Commission report filed last week.

Republican state Rep. Chuck Gray trailed both Cheney and Bouchard with about $173,000 in contributions, with roughly $133,000 coming from himself and $5,800 coming from his father.

We’re still a long ways from next November. Lots of things (Trump being deposed in civil suits https://www.google.com/amp/s/mobile.reuters.com/article/amp/idUKKBN2AN0ZF or could face criminal charges https://www.google.com/amp/s/thehil...n-criminal-investigation-of-trump-reuters?amp to name just a couple out of several potential disasters for Trump and the Trump GOP) can happen between now and then may put Trump and his sycophantic followers in the losers spot and Cheney back on top.

Personally, I applaud Cheney’s strength of character and integrity, standing against an anti American/anti patriotic fraud and his minions, knowing that it could cost her career as an elected representative.

Beyond that, I wish the party of Trump only the worst.
 
I don't see the word 'better' fitting a higher right-wing voting number. Higher, yes. But it's like saying that a 'better' murder rate is a higher one. Cheney is worse because she has voted more right-wing; she is 'more' right-wing, but I wouldn't say 'better', though yes, by right-wing standards, to them it would be better, much like to pro-murder people, that higher rate would be better. I'd stick with 'more right-wing'.

What she is not fulfilling is agreeing with the lie the party has agreed with that trump won the election. The other woman is doing 'a better job' at going along with the lie by Republican standards.
