She's not intelligent, she's an IDIOT. Grade A Idiot. And your side, are the regressives, in fact, did you know she supports racial segregation? I bet you didn't know that.

I don't think Ocasio-Cortez is an idiot. She won science fairs when she was a kid, you know. I think it's fair to say that she didn't pick up much in college because she was busy with her activism. She's demonstrably not very well informed, and she's naïve. You know, impetuous, idealistic youth.

Of course, people are going to have fun with this unforced error because there is already the suspicion that she is an empty suit. Young, excited, pretty, and also pretty smart...just undereducated. I don't think she knew what the three branches of government are and wonder what else she missed in high school civics or poly sci in college.

Ocasio-Cortez has said that Republicans are "drooling" in anticipation of her every mistake, and some surely are. But for the rest of us, this is entertaining and instructive. As I've said previously, her Dem elders are going to school her. And if she's as smart as she thinks she is, maybe she has realized after popping off about the "three chambers" that just maybe she doesn't know quite as much as she thought she did and that she needs to get to work.

She's an idiot. Sorry. She believes in socialism, doesn't know how Government works and wants racial segregation...

I'm not sure she really knows what she believes either; she sees unicorns and lollypops. She's a kid.

It's trollish, Cortez said Chambers of government instead of branches.
If you do a google search for it, it's all these right wing propaganda sites blasting her for it. Renae is just carrying water for by parroting it here.

Cortez has said a lot of stupid stuff.

None are "more" important rather all three require competent people in them to provide oversight and checks and balances with each other. In that our government has failed.

Well, there's a reason why there is a position called president. While the other two have their values, the president is still the most important. About all you could argue is how much more important is the branch than the other branches, a lot or a little.

Are you kidding me? Trump's an ass, I don't disagree, but this new face of the Democratic party... makes stupid look smart.
And this is why DP needs a "" reacting emoji like they have on Facebook. :lamo

It's obviously the Chamber of Secrets:

She can be Moaning Myrtle: :)

In the Trump era of stupidity in public, Cortez's fumbling with words doesn't even register.

Nice try though, I can see you'll happily continue to contribute to attacking Democratic women. No no, I'm sure it's all because it's because of real policy issues that you have a solid grasp of, and not just petty bull**** and parroting Republican propaganda. Really.

Carry on your good work on this earth.
So are Democrats supposed to get gentle treatment if they are women? Heaven knows those poor shrinking violets are not suited for politics, right?

Biggest whopper I have seen on this thread is that Ms. Cortez supports racial segregation. Come on...she's a Democrat. Someone watches too much Ben Shapiro. Makes no sense for a conservative to promote that because some conservatives are bound to vote for her if they believe she is for racial segregation. She has said some districts have flipped and the minority has become the majority and should have majority representation. Other than that I don't know where else words can be twisted to promote that narrative.

That is not what the newly Trump-appointed Attorney General Matt Whitaker has stated. He believes that the Judiciary branch is inferior to the other two branches of government.....

The acting attorney general, Matthew G. Whitaker, once espoused the view that the courts “are supposed to be the inferior branch” and criticized the Supreme Court’s power to review legislative and executive acts and declare them unconstitutional, the lifeblood of its existence as a coequal branch of government.
Acting Attorney General Matthew G. Whitaker Once Criticized Supreme Court’s Power

A sixth grader has a better understanding of government than this dope. Yet Trump appoints [unconstitutional] him to the highest legal position in the USG.

She is clearly very intelligent and a helluva politician. Scary for the regressives, I know.

She doesn't scare me, and she's not intelligent, at all. She won in a deep blue district... against an incumbent that had managed to alienate his base.

The group is calling its new campaign #OurTime. The initiative asks Justice Democrats’ army of activists to help identify Democratic House incumbents who are “demographically and ideologically out-of-touch with their districts,” and identify people who might make good primary challengers to them.

Joining Ocasio-Cortez in backing the #OurTime initiative is Rep.-elect Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.).

Justice Democrats’ inclusion of demographic criteria likely means that even some reliably progressive white Democrats who represent more diverse districts won’t be safe from such challenges in 2020. The group already showcased that approach with its support for Ayanna Pressley, a black Boston city council member who unseated progressive Rep. Michael Capuano (D-Mass.) in a primary in September.

You really should learn before you speak.

Nothing in the world could make Trump look smart. Did you decide she is the New Face of the DemocratIC party? Or did you read that somewhere?

So this is about Ocasio-Cortez misspeaking?

That's the entire point of this thread?

There is no way in hell she doesn't know what the three branches of government are.

I miss-speak all the time, when conversing with my friends, and they call me on it and ridicule me for it.
But they don't do **** like this.

Of course, I doubt the dailywire is friends with Ocasio-Cortez.

She doesn't. She doesn't know how to pay for things, like apartments or the new Medicare for all she wants to inflict on the American people... She doesn't like people representing people if they aren't the same color...

She doesn't like Capitalism, but she sure likes what it produces...

None of that is correct.

You have no proof that it is, even if you think you do.

I believe the left leaning news called her A new face for the democratic party, not THE new face. The first suggests a new idea, the latter suggests the party is fully in line with her.

I think the distinction is important. Also very amusing the attention given to one of the 435 representatives. The right is always searching for that scary thing.

It is correct.
And I can prove it.
New York congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez had a quick answer when asked how Americans would pay for the 'Medicare for all' plan she and other socialist-leaning Democrats favor: "Just pay for it."

In an interview with Jorge Ramos last week, Ocasio-Cortez was asked how she would pay for the multibillion-dollar health care plan promoted by liberal lawmakers like Sens. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and Kamala Harris, D-Calif. Ramos noted critics say the program would be "more expensive" than the current system, to which she answered that people would "just pay for it."

“People often say, like, how are you going to pay for it and I find the question so puzzling because ‘How do you pay for something that’s more affordable? How do you pay for cheaper rent?’ You just pay for it,” she said. “We’re paying more now.”https://www.foxnews.com/politics/oc...bout-how-to-pay-for-medicare-for-all-puzzling

But now Ocasio-Cortez faces a roadblock to taking office that many who are starting a new job have: covering the cost of moving to where the job takes them.

Ocasio-Cortez told The New York Times that she has to survive for three months without a salary, but still move to one of the most expensive cities in the country.

She was saving money before she left her restaurant job and thought it could get her through until she started her next job, but she has to move from New York to Washington, D.C. before her January swearing-in, the Times reported.

And of course, her brilliant "All three Chambers of Government" comment.

Have a nice day.

Not scary, you and a few other useful tools of the DNC are trying to push a meme that isn't true. She doesn't scare us, she amuses us.

You don't sound amused. You sound rather mean, and desperately looking for friends who support your view of how this young woman who managed to get herself elected to a federal position is a stupid naive idiot who slept through her classes, doesn't know ****, but is somehow the NEW definition of the Democratic Party. Wherever you come from must be as boring as hell if this is amusing.

Mean? Honesty is mean now? I'm sorry.
