The good die young however, in art, this can actually benefit your career.

Dying young often gives people a saintly status one they might not have earned had they lived longer. Allow me to Varnish you with a few couple examples . (IMO)

John Lennon .Obviously, The Beatles were a huge band, and Lennon’s songwriting was a big part of that (though McCartney was slightly better). However, as a person, he was kind of a hypocrite and a champagne socialist who would likely be insufferable if he were still around.

Bill Hicks. A fantastic comedian, though not everything holds up today. He was well on his way to becoming an Alex Jones type figure and would likely be a conspiracy nut if he were still around.

Who do you think reputation was somewhat enhanced or saved by early death ?

Michael Jackson.

Michael Jackson.

Janis Joplin.
Hank Williams.

This post is bloody insufferable.

Peace really bothers you does it?

FYI
McCartney was nothing compared to Lennon except of course if trite songs are your thing.

One of the most ridiculous post, top to bottom, I have read on this board.

God bless you

Disagree, Lennon wouldn't make a good pimple on McCartney's ass.

And btw, who the **** is Bill Hicks and Alex Jones?

Janis Joplin.
Hank Williams.

I'm not a sports guy so I wouldn't understand Hank Williams. But what did Janis Joplin do?

She was a fantastic blues singer. Fried her voice, yes. Booze and heroin and others, yes. But is there some history of her being awful to people that I don't know about? Or is this just a judgment that she irrevocably fried her voice (See "Summertime")
