I have been watching this strange case for some time. I have to say the Ds bring up valid concerns, but the thing is... well, I was going to find the timeline for all these events (you know: how long has the US been sending aid... when did that stop, when did it start up again..) but forgot b4 coming here..

So yeh, from what I can gather, Trump MAY HAVE (key words) with-held the aid to Ukraine because he wanted Biden investigated, for his own political reasons. Let's just say hypothetically that that is what all of the Senate concludes.

I'm like... SO?

that is NOT impeach-worthy

for one, it is the president's job to get rid of corruption if he can. Here we have a US citizen who is accused credibly of being corrupt (Biden). Is Trump supposed to ignore that just bc Biden is running 4 president?

How do we know, for one thing, that Biden didn't choose to run just BECAUSE of all this, meaning bc he knew that Trump would investigate Ukraine corruption and that would lead him to Biden... and so Biden came up with the best of all ways to avoid prosecution

become his running mate

great message to all: If you want to get out of trouble w/ some high ranking person or another, run for office against him (her)

Two options you didn't have there. The democrats have a mountain of evidence and are articulating it quite masterfully. They're sprinkling the bread crumbs in a trail that leads to a whole loaf. Yet, sadly, republicans are too concerned about their own self-preservation that they will continue down this path of the destruction of our democracy to save themselves.

yes, t hat is why it was SOOOOOO hard to watch Schiff and others today... but I forced myself to do that because you can't know the case otherwise. He made some valid or valid-sounding points but he said things that are not true AND we all know that he has lied in the past. For 3 years he told us he had EVIDENCE that Trump colluded w/ Russia but after umpteen investigations, nothing like that was found. In fact, it was the Ds who were in cahoots w/ foreigners trying to overthrow Trump..

so yeh... that was y I didn't want to watch the shiffty one

I am sure that if i had time to thoroughly investigate what he said so far in this farce... i would find tons of lies and distortions of truth

but who has the time?

that's why we depend on Fox News and others.. (not fake news cnn)

I hope those who are paid to pick such things apart are on the ball... because I know for a fact that schiffty is NOT credible... He knows that most Americans don't diligently or closely follow all this and even those of us who do often get confused and overwhelmed w/ all the info, "sprinkled" here and there with total bs

My view that he did nothing impeach worthy stands

If they haven't convinced Trump supporters --no, wait, if they haven't yet convinced the American people that some actual crime was committed, they never will (barring some new info, which is probably why they want more "info" so called)
 

Documents, emails, telephone logs, live testimonies, those are not spaghetti, they're facts.

republican senators are conducting an epic coverup that not only includes the entire executive branch but ‘certain’ senators and representatives involved with trump. Moscow’s bitch is playing his Merrick Garland game.

republicans have good reason to fear letting the corrupt liar and traitor go before the Super Bowl, with everything that will come out over the next 9+ months.
 

Good reply, I commend you for even bothering to answer in threads/polls like this. I'm unsure whether the OPs of these types of threads are just trolls, US or elsewhere, or if they are just delusional Trump Party cultists. Either way, I don't have the patience that you and others here do to even engage them in the nonsense.

I, for one, do not pay attention when hyperbole is used unless I know for a fact that said hyperbole.. is not entirely without merit. Speak the truth.. use hyperbole all you want... but if I am not certain about what u speak of, I will not believe you
 
I have no doubt Trump did exactly as charged. All that's to be determined is whether it is an impeachable offense? I strongly feel it is.

You need to read up on how to be objective. Your polls are all loaded. One of the options should have been: "The Ds made the case that Trump committed impeachable offenses"
 
You missed:

"Ds realize they have no chance electing a President in a fair election. Impeachment is a desperate Hail Mary move".

All of the testimony has supported this accusation, none has refuted it.

I guess it makes perfect sense for Ukraine to do our investigations for us because under Donald Trump and William Barr we don't have an operative justice department.
