Where's the evidence that building the wall will get Trump re-elected in 2020?

I keep seeing GOP voters on this forum say if Trump builds the wall, he will automatically cruise to re-election. But where is the proof? Democrats don't want his wall, his support among independents has dropped drastically (which says a lot, since he never had a lot of support from them to begin with), and Republicans still approve of him at an all time high. Seems to me that wall or no wall, Trump's support largely remains the same, and will stay that way ( at least for now). I've seen no evidence that building a wall will increase his support with anyone, and automatically get him re-elected in 2020. But if the Trump fanatics can show me where I'm wrong, i'd be happy to see it.

I haven't seen that. Silly to think that if so though.
