Where do you fit in the political typology?

Came out as "Establishment Liberals" for me. Which is pretty close.

Yes, according to the quiz you linked.

FYI - Seeing as you haven't used the field, you can drop it into your 'Custom Title' field, if desired?

You can check-out my Avatar area as an example (Social Democrat) . . .

I got outsider left, but I like the 9axis test better. I feel like that one doesn't even come close to representing or categorizing many people.

I took that one, but didn't really like the way a lot of the questions were phrased. It came up with marxist, lol, and fanatic equality and fanatic secular. 70% progressive. There is another test somewhere that I took once that put me between Ted Kennedy and Hillary. I can't remember where the test was, but I think the question on it were better.

I was going to joke about your vanilla mainstream status but I took the test before that:

Your best fit is…

Democratic Mainstays

… along with 16% of the public

Doh.

Pro tip, pretty sure all you have to do is rate the DNC <=50/100 to get booted out of Democratic Mainstays ;)

Where do you fit in the political typology?

Are you a Faith and Flag Conservative? Progressive Left? Or somewhere in between?

Bah! Every party has a pooper, that's why we brought you! :p
I try to poop everywhere if I can. ;) The mods can attest to that I'm afraid. I'll try to behave.

While tempted, I'm not going to run with this in its myriad of possibilities, besides to say . . .

"Thanks for the reply!"

:p

Since I didn't take the test due to the lack of details, is there a politically sane category? That's what I'd like to think I am.

Ya know, I get called everything under the sun. I just don't fit anywhere to be honest. That is why I have put "other."

Don't knock it; that's a good place to be! (y)

My profile says that I am a lefty progressive. It would be more accurate to say that I am a mixed market socialist on economics and a civil libertarian on civil rights. I am an atheist but I vehemently support both religious clauses of the first Amendment. We all have the inalienable right to believe or not to believe but the state must be absolutely secular and neutral on the issue of religious belief or lack thereof at all levels of its functioning so we all have the very same rights.

My typology is this shirt.

Great T Shirt!

You got a leather, too? ;)

The notions of what are liberal and conservative change with time. Indeed, our opinions change with time. I used to be anti- illegal immigration. I couldn't care less about it now. My opinions can change with more info, like when the second generation immigrants grow up to be as American as me, but none of my opinions have anything to do with ideology or party clubs. That they may fall on some continuum defined and designed by some method isn't very useful, imo.

Someone who is independent is defined by his opinions. Club members' opinions are defined by the club. That's the difference, which no test can accurately show.

Even better post!

My personal opinion of myself:

I do share some of the sideliner sense of alienation though and am not really part of the party. In another small ways, I identify with the progressive left as well.

I'm still blown away that you publicly identify as, 'Christian, Capitalist, Social-Democrat'.

You're the only other one, besides myself, that I've knowingly run into (not that I ask much!).
